I was out of town and experienced an issue with my sunroof. They corrected the problem with the sunroof, In addition, they did a complete check of the vehicle which was not requested. Service recommended several needed items brakes, tires, and air filter. One tire did need to be purchased however they could not recommend a used tire supplier in the area. However, when I found one, it was next-door to the dealership’s collision center. Upon returning home and taking the car to my mechanic, brakes, 3 remaining tires and air filter were not needed. The service department never contacted me before doing the additional unrequested checks nor did he explain that when I discussed bringing the vehicle for the sunroof on the phone or upon arrival. The repair coat was high and they charged a fee for materials. When questioned about the.extra charge, I was told it is a charge they add for all vehicles that come for a service. I further questioned that there were no materials. The manager explained it was for the computer software and machines in the shop. Very much felt like they took advantage of an out of state female client. Would not recommend using their service department whatsoever. More
