Overall: my time at Wilkins was very pleasant. This was my first experience dealing with a big decision of purschasing a new car by myself. I was afraid that dealers would see "an old grandmother person" my first experience dealing with a big decision of purschasing a new car by myself. I was afraid that dealers would see "an old grandmother person" and either not want to help or take advantage and talk me into something that I didn't want. But neither was so. Michael Gavin met with me first as I had emailed and spoke to him over the phone. He introduced Robert Smith and we began discussing what I was looking for. I went in thinking I would purchase another LaCrosse as I had been very happy with my 2006 LaCrosse, but after looking around and comparing the LaCrosse with the Verano I was satified that the 2012 Verano was for me. Robert test drove with me and explained the various features. There was no sale pressure which made me feel very comfortable. I had to figure this out for myself and I did. (BACKGROUND: I recently lost my husband after 40 years and making decisions with out having someone to "bounce things off" is new to me.)Anyway. . . . bottom line, my experience with Wilkins was very pleasant from walking in, signing the papers, to driving away. As I will be going back for my service maintainences, I will continue to keep my expereince with Wilkins documented. More
The "sales rep," Linda, was wonderful. She made me feel very comfortable and she never rushed me. I just didn't feel pressured. I appreciate that! I am pleased with my salesperson Ted Florenz. I feel he was very friendly, not pushy at all, and answered all of my questions. If he did not know the answer, he found the answer for me. Ted Florenz was great to work with while purchasing my new car. Ted took a lot of time to sit down with me and talk About the features of the Acadia and also insisted on me driving the car home to make new car. After purchasing the car, Ted took time to show me every aspect of the car. I felt confident leaving the store with my new car and knew I made the right decision in purchasing it. Ted also offered to come to my house to install the cross rods that came in 2 days after I purchased the car. Started out 1/2/12 just going out to look at a new vehicle. Was very impressed with Linda Drymon because she answered every question I had with no problem and I never felt she was pushing me. That is the one thing I hate more then anything is a sales person who is more interested in the sale then helping me make a very important decision. She was very helpful and cared about me making the right choice. She had told me after the sale if I had any questions or needed help with anything I could call her. One week after the sale I had to call Linda with a question about my new Buick and she was more then willing to help me out. I had to take my vehicle to the service center and found great help there also from a gentlemen named Mitch. Everyone seems very help at Wilkins Buick and I am very impressed with the customer service. Will recommend Wilkins Buick to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
