Beware of the Service Department!!! I live about a 1 1/2 hour drive from Madison. I bought my CERTIFIED 2014 Pathfinder from Zimbrick after having been told the NISSAN extended warranty I live about a 1 1/2 hour drive from Madison. I bought my CERTIFIED 2014 Pathfinder from Zimbrick after having been told the NISSAN extended warranty would be honored at any dealership. I have had repeated problems with my vehicle including a major transmission problem (which WAS covered by the warranty). However, I have also had the liftgate button release assembly break during the cold winter (the plastic part holding the release button in place), the air conditioning compressor died, a wheel bearing went out, it needed new brakes and a caliper, and the electronic power steering pump motor needs to be replaced. I assume the Zimbrick mechanics were the ones to certify the vehicle and if so, need to learn how to spot problems with a car. Apparently when they check over the vehicle they ONLY check for things that would be covered under the extended NISSAN warranty, but they don't make that clear when you're purchasing the car. As I said, the major transmission problem WAS covered under the warranty, but NONE of the rest of the problems ARE. However, the thing that really concerns me is their repeated refusal to let me know if a particular part WAS covered under the warranty (it wasn't). The air conditioning went out and I knew that wasn't covered, so when I took it to a local mechanic he discovered that not only was the compressor dead, but the high-pitched whining noise I heard coming from the engine compartment was NOT related to the A/C, but was actually the power steering pump (over $2400 new from Nissan). The pump assembly is in plain sight and we could identify the sound was clearly coming from that. He told me to check to see if that part was covered under the extended warranty. When I called Zimbrick, they refused to tell me if that part was covered unless I took it there for them to diagnose it. I told them it had already been diagnosed by a mechanic and I didn't want to drive 1 1/2 hours to have THEM diagnose it. I asked again, if that part does prove to be bad no matter WHO diagnoses it, is the part covered under the warranty? They again refused to tell me. I finally had to ask for a manager and at last got him to tell me the part was NOT covered. I asked if his service people had the same access to that information that he had. He admitted they do. SO ZIMBRICK APPARENTLY WANTED ME TO HAVE TO DRIVE 1 1/2 HOURS TO HAVE A KNOWN BAD PART DIAGNOSED SO THAT THEY COULD CHARGE ME A FEE FOR DIAGNOSING THE PART THEMSELVES (AND THEN HOPING THAT I WOULD HAVE THE WORK DONE THERE AS LONG AS I HAD ALREADY DRIVEN THERE). My certified Pathfinder now has 81,000 miles on it, has had one MAJOR transmission problem and a lot of non-covered (but expensive) problems. Because of all those problems on a vehicle with so few miles, I will never buy a Nissan again. Because of Zimbrick's repeated refusal to provide me with warranty information when asked, I will certainly not buy from them again! In completing this assessment I was forced to include names of people that I dealt with at Zimbrick in order to submit the review. I didn't get the names of the SERVICE people I talked with. The person I listed just to be able to submit this review was the salesperson I dealt with when I purchased the car and I have no problem with him. More

Issue with my fob not connection to turn my car on. Very professional and quick I was running behind for my scheduled oil change/tire rotation appointment due to work issue where I work. I called Zimbrick and they said not to worry to come on in when I am able to and they would take care of me. Once I got there they were friendly, professional and got my car in and out in no time flat. It was an excellent experience all around! More
Service is everything I recently had an issue with my 2017 Titan. Not really covered under warranty. Their service team did everything they could to resolve the problem. My Titan is the 9th vehicle I have leased or purchased from Zimbrick and its the service that keeps me coming back. More
