I have come to Zimbrick east for over 10 years to have my Sonata serviced because I have always received excellent service, professional advisors who were NOT trying to upsell unneeded work or parts, and pol Sonata serviced because I have always received excellent service, professional advisors who were NOT trying to upsell unneeded work or parts, and polite and friendly staff. I realize the dealership may cost a little bit more but I value knowing that someone who specializes in my car is taking care of it. More

All of the consultant staff were friendly and helpful but my problem was not fixed. Unfortunately, the Service Manager was very unpleasant and rude. I had my car in for service, after the completion of the service I drive my vehicle approximately 20 miles and the check engine light started blinking. Due to the blinking check engine light blinking, I was service I drive my vehicle approximately 20 miles and the check engine light started blinking. Due to the blinking check engine light blinking, I was advised by zimbrick east to discontinue driving the vehicle or risk damaging the motor. I asked when I would be able to have them fix the issue that ended up being caused by a damaged spark plug that had just been installed during the service. They couldn’t get my vehicle in for a month. Also I was advised to have my vehicle towed in. I asked if I had it towed in of it could be squeezed in earlier, I was told no. I called the service person and left a vm with no response. Finally I had my vehicle towed there in hopes that I’d get lucky and it would be looked at earlier. My car was looked at 3 weeks after I called rather than a full month. I had no vehicle for 3 weeks. It was incredibly inconvenient and I’m just fortunate to have the ability to work from home otherwise it would have cost me a lot and no offer of a loaner vehicle while I had to wait for my appointment. All around bad customer service. I’ve been taking my vehicle to Zimbrick East in Madison WI for 16 years but I won’t be any more after this. The customer service used to be incredible. It’s gone way downhill which is very disappointing. More

Originally, I said that Zimbrick as a whole sucked, but some whiny manager didn't like that. So, I'll clarify. Zimbrick East Side Hyundai is "meh." My experience this time in particular has been ok, no some whiny manager didn't like that. So, I'll clarify. Zimbrick East Side Hyundai is "meh." My experience this time in particular has been ok, not great. It was warranty work, so at least I didn’t overpay! But I was told there were no loaner cars, only for the service rep to later tell Hyundai Cares that I didn’t even ask for one. Dude, my car overheated and you told me it would be weeks before you could get at it. You think I’m really not looking for a loaner? The work was performed faster than I was promised, but I got it home and smelled a foul odor from the engine, so it’s going right back. If they spent as much time repairing vehicles as they did replying to negative online reviews, maybe they would be caught up. More
