I do realize that most people only write reviews when they have had a bad experience, so I would like to start my review with the positive. Dave was an awesome salesman. He answered all of my question an they have had a bad experience, so I would like to start my review with the positive. Dave was an awesome salesman. He answered all of my question and was very knowledgeable about the new Scion tC I was buying. He took into consideration all of my needs and treated me far. He also explained in detail all the pricing and financing aspects. Now, I began having trouble when I was told I could refinance the car after I went through the dealerships banks. I was preapproved though another bank with a different and much lower interest rate. I was told by Theresa that many people refinance after going through the dealership. Being a younger person this was the first time I had ever bought a car on my own. I know dealerships are known for misleading the buyer, but I wish that on the financing end they would have better explained all of the fine print. Long story short when you finance tax, title, gap insurance and all the add-ons, banks will not cover that after the car is purchased. So now I have to wait until I have paid down my car to what it is worth before I can refinance at a rate I can actually afford. When I called the dealership and left Theresa a message, she never called me back. I explained in the message that I had some questions and was a little confused. When I later drove to the dealership to discuss my concerns she looked at me as if I was crazy. She was very rude and became defensive when I began asking her questions on the sales floor, and instead of taking me into any office she verbally insulted me as if I was a idiot. I believe I was taken advantage of by the finacial end of the business. Sales wise I have no complaints. I do not appreciate the way I was treated after I had already purchased the car. More
A wonderful experience. Kim is a great sales professional. She's very thorough with great customer service attitude. The entire purchase process was very smooth and very efficient - unlike our p professional. She's very thorough with great customer service attitude. The entire purchase process was very smooth and very efficient - unlike our past experience with other dealers. Everyone there is very friendly including the Services department. Wish they could have done a better job in cleaning the new car. It's not bad but could be better. :-) More
Walked in, test drove 2 vehicles, traded mine in and purchased a new Rav 4 in a few hours. Phil was friendly and helpful. Price was in line with internet prices at other dealers. Jim Nielsen has integrity and honesty not always common in car salesmen. He worked hard to find us the Highlander in Blizzard Pearl that we wanted and at a great price. I chose him because when I called he in car salesmen. He worked hard to find us the Highlander in Blizzard Pearl that we wanted and at a great price. I chose him because when I called he was straight up with a great price and was easy to deal with, no attitude because I was a female. We are very happy with our experience. More
The lies are one thing. Being talk to like a child by the finance person is another. Just shop around they are very rude people and talk down to you. Also before we left we were encouraged to write a review. finance person is another. Just shop around they are very rude people and talk down to you. Also before we left we were encouraged to write a review. Our sales person was nice but we would never recommend sending anyone there. I heard bad things in the city we live in about this local dealer. I never would of though these things are true. To my disappointment the Vice President of the company was a mean old slob that laughed at us when we came back a few days later. They encouraged us to fill this review out on the website. They pretty much begged for a good review along with the survey. It took me a little while to write this but after a pleasant experience at another place it really ticked me off how rude an organization can be to the public and community that supports them. More
Michael Hogan was friendly and provided us with the information such as the dealer invoice, etc. to make us feel comfortable enough to purchase a vehicle. He didn't even seemed phased when I whipped ou information such as the dealer invoice, etc. to make us feel comfortable enough to purchase a vehicle. He didn't even seemed phased when I whipped out my 2011 new vehicle consumer digest to look up invoice prices on the models we where looking at, or told him I was politely not interested in the extra exterior protection. Some sales people will press the point on the protection plan since it's a big money maker for the dealers, but Backflip seemed instantly okay with it and moved on to the next thing to get us out the door with our new ride. The staff even haggled a no haggle price for us. The business manager was also upfront and business like. At no time did I feel a sleaze factor that can be so common in purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. Though the dealership building seems a bit tired and run down. They really should spruce the place up and replace the very dirty cubicle walls and wash the fabric of the chairs. Though I'd rather have a good price on a car than have a really nice environment. The best part was when Michael did a back flip off the back of the tailgate of a red Toyota pickup that was part of the negotiated deal to purchase the car. I'm serious. He really did a back flip off the back of a pickup. Very entertaining. I was greatly amused and he totally nailed the landing for a cumulative score of 9.8. More
I found a car I was interested inon the internet. I had a response from Gentile Motors within the hour and a follow up by phone. I was a little on the fence because I was driving from a suburb NW of Milwauk response from Gentile Motors within the hour and a follow up by phone. I was a little on the fence because I was driving from a suburb NW of Milwaukee and it seemed a long way to drive to look at a car. (We have a few dealers in our area!) I found it was worth the drive. The manager and sales staff were very courteous and professional. There wasn't the feeling that they just wanted me to buy this car. I didn't buy the car I looked at that day but they took the information of what I wanted and called with another vehicle they thought I might like. I did like it and purchased the car the day I looked at it. There was no pressuring from the sales staff and I felt very comfortable with the negotiation process. More
We had a positive experience here w/Pete. Great service all around. We came all the way from Elkhorn, WI. This past weekend I decided it was time to get myself a newer vehicle. Since I had such a great experience at Gentile when I purchased my previous car, I knew that was the place to go. Pete recognized me a newer vehicle. Since I had such a great experience at Gentile when I purchased my previous car, I knew that was the place to go. Pete recognized me and gingerly approached me with a smile and a hand shake. I told him which car I was looking at and he gave me the keys and let me go for a ride. It was nice. We agreed on a price and the value of my trade in. Pete was very thorough in explaining all of the dollars and decimals to me. That afternoon I drove away a very happy guy in my newly purchased vehicle. It was a very pleasant experience and I have know doubts that I will go back and buy my next car from him. More
