Best experience thanks to Charles This was my best experience in buying a new car that I have had in a very long time not since I bought my Camaro in 1970. This was my best experience in buying a new car that I have had in a very long time not since I bought my Camaro in 1970. More

Good experience buying a new vehicle Nick Ferguson was very knowledgeable about the car and the financing options available. It was the best new car buying experience I've ever had. Usual promises around trade in value from an insincere crew. I had a GTI VW that VW would trade in for 12500. According to KBB in normal wear state (mine had super low miles and was mint) a regular dealer should I had a GTI VW that VW would trade in for 12500. According to KBB in normal wear state (mine had super low miles and was mint) a regular dealer should give between 11000 and 12000. Called in and made an appointment to look for a new Outback. They said theyd be right around the KBB value. They left us sitting for 2 hours because they were "busy". It was dead quiet. Anyhoo, after 6 we were boiling and got up to leave. They then came out and apologized and said they'd get right on it. Came back with a 7500 offer?!!! When I croaked and showed KBB prints and other offer prints they said that they call and sell to trade and no one is buying after 6 and VW GTI's arent wanted cars. Just nuts. They also tried to pad the price of the outback the other way. BAD people, bad dealership. This is why people hate buying cars. More
Service manager Eric is Garbage. First you pull in to a fake xxx greating from a stuck up service writer/service manager. Then he swamps my appointment with others and am stuck waitin First you pull in to a fake xxx greating from a stuck up service writer/service manager. Then he swamps my appointment with others and am stuck waiting to get a quote I didn't even want. Parts are priced doubled. The work done there is good. But the prices are just unreasonably high. The thing is they know it and won't work with the customer. They don't care about the customers. I felt disrespected. Eric is a xxxxxxxxx lier and will lie to your face. Make you think hes your friend. Hes not he just wants to steal your money and beg you to write a good review about it. More
Do not care about customer Safety or quality service I bought a used vehicle that went through their 150 point safety inspection. My vehicle had less than 3400 miles on it. I went back and complained mu I bought a used vehicle that went through their 150 point safety inspection. My vehicle had less than 3400 miles on it. I went back and complained multiple times. It had the following problems: gash in the tire side wall that was 1/4" deep x 3/8" They refused to fix the tire, they also admitted that that was a safety concern. All 4 wheels had damage and one 2 had thumb sized chips in the rim at the bead. Brake line to the passenger rear had air in it. I had to bleed my brake system myself to remedy the problem. key was bent and hung up in the ignition (they finally gave me 2 replacement keys after 3 visits complaining). Vehicle only had one key. Not disclosed at sale time. Had a hole drilled in the rear corner panel that was hidden by the door. Told me they would get a plug for it, never did. It is concerning that a 150 point safety inspection (done by this company) did not flag or cause this company to fix the tire, rim damage, air in the brake line, or bent key. They demonstrated that they have no regard for the customers well being by letting a vehicle leave their lot like this. I will not take my vehicles to them for service. I would not feel safe letting my wife drive the car unless I checked/redid the work (why pay them in the first place then). After 6 months my vehicle was totaled. I refuse to purchase another vehicle from them because of my first experience. I will drive an hour plus to buy a new vehicle to avoid them. This also means that my service provider will be that far away also. In searching for a replacement vehicle I found multiple dealers with more competitive prices then they offered. Which is counterintuitive. In summary, you can get a vehicle from a different Subaru dealer have better pricing and better service. They set the bar so low that I don't know how the service could be any worse. Do yourself a favor and pass on this company. They have 2 locations. I will avoid the Orland Park, IL location also. More
Mixed Feelings Very friendly service! I especially like the idea of test driving without the sales rep! A plus! I purchased a car for my daughter. Joseph Amore wa Very friendly service! I especially like the idea of test driving without the sales rep! A plus! I purchased a car for my daughter. Joseph Amore was especially nice both visits. The only issue I have is during the test drive I noticed a pulsating on the breaks while driving. Joseph had the brakes inspected and mentioned that it would need brake pads In about 1000 miles according to the service technician but that they didn't work on that particular car because it was not a Suburu. Unfortunately after I purchased the used car I had the car looked at again the next day and in fact it was the rotors, of course when u change the rotors u change the pads too. I contacted the dealership immediately to see if they were willing to compensate and that of course was a no. I was looking for any type of assistance not to be completely paid for. At any rate although I had to replace them at my own expenses I do appreciate the kindness we were shown at the dealership during the sales experience but only rated a 3 for the brake issue after all I had just purchased a car for myself at Ed Napleton and I notice an issue with the heat the very next day and they fixed ASAP at their own expense. Buyer Beware! First, I will say the salesman was very nice. But, if you are thinking about buying a car here, just beware of all the schemes and tactics they use. D First, I will say the salesman was very nice. But, if you are thinking about buying a car here, just beware of all the schemes and tactics they use. Double check all your numbers and price shop with another dealer, even when it comes down to the financing numbers. This dealership tried to rip me off at every single step in the car buying process. Fortunately, I caught and questioned them, which at the end of the process, the sales guy got a little snarky with me. I eventually took a friends recommendation and bought from Schlossmann's in Milwaukee.....well worth the drive. This dealership gets a one-star rating only because there is not a no-star option. More

When i arrived the car was there as promised and I met with Joe Schavo. He seemed very knoledgable about the specific product I was looking at and awnsered all of my questions and took me on a test drive. I was a little uneasy about the miles but Joe showed me the complete inspection and showed me what the dealer had done to the car. We settled on a price and I agreed to come back the following day to inspect the underside of the vehicle. (The service dept was closed for the day) We agreed on a time and Joe had it all ready. I was happy and we were doing the paperwork. The car had only one key and they are expensive so Joe saved me some money so I could get a new one. Everyone was nice and the place was professional. That was a month ago and I left a happy customer. *UPDATE* A couple of weeks later Joe calls me on the phone and says the customer dropped off some extra items for the car including a spare key. Although it would have been simpler to pitch everything in th trash because the deal was done he took the time to ship these things to my house hence this review. To me a good person does the right thing when no ones watching and thats what Joe did for me. Highly Recommended - Give Joe a call More
