Appointment error that turned out okay When I called for my first service appointment for my 2019 Outback, I asked what was included and the cost. I was told that there would be and oil ch When I called for my first service appointment for my 2019 Outback, I asked what was included and the cost. I was told that there would be and oil change and tire rotation, but at no charge. Surprised, and pleased, I made the appointment. When I arrived the service tech started to walk me through the three oil change choices, and the cost of each. I stated that I was told there would be no charge. Apparently the person on the appointment desk did not know to check whether the vehicle had a maintenance agreement (which I knew I did not have) before quoting "no charge". I was irritated that I was given the wrong information. The service rep spoke with the department manager, and they agreed to perform this maintenance for free. I was very happy with the result. More
