Wiper blade insert mishandled You kept my wife waiting for over an hour on a routine oil change & install of he new front wiper blade inserts, even though she only needed a passeng You kept my wife waiting for over an hour on a routine oil change & install of he new front wiper blade inserts, even though she only needed a passenger side front blade replacement. This was another unnecessary up sell,& then either you had wrong part nos. or the tech didn't know how to install the blade inserts. It took a parts guy to figure it out, &another 1/2 hour of her time & she still has to come back for the blade inserts....but your personnel treated her well & she likes generally how she's treated there. It's just that I worked in a Subaru dealership as a manager for nearly 20 years & I know this not how it's supposed to work time wise or product up sell. I usually handle the maintenance works on our 2 Subarus, but had other things to do that afternoon, but next time I'll be there & things will hopefully be different. While your facility is a 15 minute drive from us & my wife has a favorable impression of most of your staff.....there always seems to be a problem when we go to your dealership. More

MY CONCERN IS THIS: WITH ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES SUBARU DOES HAVE......WHY ISN'T THERE A WARNING THAT WOULD FLASH TO TELL YOU TO GET HELP SOON? IF I WAS UP NORTH AND THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED I WOULD HAVE BEEN 60 MILES FROM A SUBARU DEALER SO IT REALLY BOTHERS ME THAT THIS HAPPENED. ALSO, WHEN MY CAR WAS IN FOR SERVICE, IF THERE WAS AN UPDATE ON SOFTWARE WHY WASN'T IT INSTALLED THEN? LET'S HOPE THAT SUBARU SENDS A NOTIFICATION OUT TO ALL OWNERS TO BRING CAR IN FOR SOFTWARE UPDATE BEFORE THIS HAPPENS TO THEM. More

Great staff Having to return to service for a problem to be corrected can sometimes be a harrowing experience. Not in this case. Al Gilanyl the service advisor handled my problem with the "white glove" treatment and even better there was no charge. Richard Linkowski in the sales department was interested in my present Subaru and wanted to see if I was thinking of perhaps purchasing a new car in the very near future. He was totally professional and gracious and certainly the best salesman I have ever had to deal with in all my years of car purchasing.
