My car was powering on and off repeatedly by itself. The first thought was a defective start stop push button switch. After replacing it the car was still powering up and then down almost continuously. The first thought was a defective start stop push button switch. After replacing it the car was still powering up and then down almost continuously. Turns out it’s the keyless access unit. The dealership will get the part in a couple of days, notify me and then replace it. They gave me a significant discount on the new switch since that wasn’t the problem. Honda procedure says to replace that part first to see if that fixes the issue. Apparently nobody has seen that type of unusual car behavior before so we all learned something. Service Advisor Jacob Wenzel was pretty awesome to work with. More
