I left my glasses on the dashboard, I know I shouldn't have. When I got back to my car they slide off the dash, it would've been nice if the tech. driving my car would've been nice enough to put them back have. Instead, they were buried and left in the side passenger under the seat. Take it easy on the turns, it's not the Indy 500, the tech must have really been taking the turns. Let's be a little more careful with other people's personal items and cars. I like to come up to Elhart, you all usually have good service. More
Dealer was very helpful. I replaced a bad BCM module in my Acadia. They reprogrammed it for me to the features on my vehicle and everything worked perfectly for me. Getting a hold of someone to actually schedule an appointment was a nightmare. The scheduler and I played phone tag continuously and I felt like every time I called I received her voicemail. Service department was great. While we were there, we looked at some new cars. While we were looking, a salesman asked if we needed help. We explained what we were doing when he got a call, excused himse looked at some new cars. While we were looking, a salesman asked if we needed help. The service writers are ok but they need to learn more about the vehicles to explain the problems better and do better at returning phone calls. There are many things nice about a locally owned dealership, as opposed to a corporate multi-location dealership. Elhart GMC service department is a prime example. Service writers that keep you informed of progress and let you know as soon as repairs or maintenance is finished.
