I emailed the dealership once already and haven’t heard anything. Scheduling for service continues to be a problem. I called and spoke with someone (can no longer do this online, but that has also been unr anything. Scheduling for service continues to be a problem. I called and spoke with someone (can no longer do this online, but that has also been unreliable). Even though I provided all the pertinent information, she scheduled me at another Elhart property. I responded to confirmation texts but never heard back. The service person did solve the initial issue. I also mentioned to him I noticed a minor issue on the way there that my rpm’s fluttered on the way there. I was told that sometimes happens when it’s overdue for an oil change, but they’ll check it. It was never mentioned at checkout, but I could tell the issue was still there. By that evening, I could tell it was transmission-related. I took it somewhere to have the transmission checked and replaced. That’s an issue for GMC btw. This forgetting about issues has now been a hallmark for Elhart. Last time it was the rear defrost that no longer worked after they did a recall check. A year ago it was not discussing the windshield washer pump that needed to be replaced that I did myself since no one mentioned it to me. When I emailed the dealership I heard from the service manager while he was on vacation once but then never heard back again on how to fix it. I copied the owner, but heard nothing. While there the last time, I sat in the lobby and never once did anyone say a word. I’ve said numerous times I root for this dealer to do well. I feel like I can no longer say that. It’s been frustrating and not worth my time to get poor scheduling, poor service and no follow through. I leased, then purchased, my truck at Elhart. I’m likely 1-2 years from another. I do not plan to consider Elhart at that time I’m sorry to say. After staying committed to getting nearly all my service done there, I do not plan to continue to get service there either. It shouldn’t be this hard to work with you. More

Why was the car returned with the low tire pressure warning light still on? The light never goes off even after putting air in the tire. Scheduled an appointment which was almost 3 weeks out, then they tried to move it back another week or more. They tried to squeeze me in on the day originally scheduled so that was nice. I dropped truck off on Wednesday morning and got no update until I called and asked what was going on on Friday. They said nothing wrong. I came in to get it and was hoping a service tech could take a ride to feel the issue and he was VERY rude about it. We drove and the issue was obvious to me, but he insisted nothing is wrong, they adjusted one headlight so now it’s way too low instead of fixing the issue with the truck not sitting level. Absolutely awful service, they had no interest in even trying to fix it. This is EXACTLY why I bought the truck elsewhere, service here has always been poor and I see that has not changed. I now have a brand new truck at a mechanic I trust to be repaired and am paying for it even though it’s brand new and this should be covered. Frustrating to put it mildly. I was treated like trash and they didn’t fix the issue, they actually pretended like it didn’t exist. More
