We purchased a 2022 Tahoe RTS November 2021 from Zeigler in Schaumburg. The finance guy sold us a package for free oil changes at ANY Zeigler location. So I go yesterday to Zeigler Ford in North Rivers in Schaumburg. The finance guy sold us a package for free oil changes at ANY Zeigler location. So I go yesterday to Zeigler Ford in North Riverside. The guy comes up to my vehicle and tell him I purchased the Zeigler package for free oil changes. He says to me that Zeigler outsources the oil change place and that I will have to pay for the oil change $20. 10 minutes later after I tell him okay, he comes back to my car and says it will be between $30-$40 because they don’t usually have Tahoes come to that location for oil changes, which uses more oil. Normal price for an oil change is $89.99. I called Zeigler in Schaumburg and spoke to manager that was new to explain to him what is going on. He didn’t know the answer so he had to call me back. He calls back and says that $20 was a deductible I had to pay. He said what a great deal I’m getting on an oil change blah blah blah. He just wanted to get me off the phone. Anyway, 2 and a half hours go by and the oil change is finally done. The guy that quoted $30-$40 bucks kept his word but said the next time I come there or IF come back the oil change will be $89.99. You should see my invoice. No mention of the Zeigler package I purchased on the paper. He made up some numbers and got my bill down to $34 with tax. After you buy a vehicle from Zeigler they don’t care about customer service after the fact. What a shame. More
