It was my fifth time dropping my car off for a day for an easy fix I was told that ended up being two to three days each time. I dread taking my car to Zeigler in Schaumburg because each time I have taken it there I ended up with a bigger problem than I did in the first place. I wasted my time showing up after being called saying my car was ready when in fact it was not. I always ended up leaving it for another day after being told to pick it up. Going to Zeigler has been a waste of time and money. Nobody there cared to help out in a timely manner even after it was the mechanics fault that my interior was being damaged. More diagnostics could have been performed on the air conditioning issue before causing a large job. I returned three days later with same problem. Bait and switch, deceptive, horrible experience! Set up an appointment and drove 3.5 hrs (7 hrs round-trip) after having price in writing via text from the dealership on a specific vehicle, verifie Set up an appointment and drove 3.5 hrs (7 hrs round-trip) after having price in writing via text from the dealership on a specific vehicle, verified it was available at the dealership, and were told they'd have it "ready to go" for us, only to arrive at our scheduled appointment time and be told vehicle was sold 1.5 hrs beforehand. The dealership was aware we were driving this far and no one called to tell us the vehicle was sold, nor suggested we place a deposit to hold it during any of our conversations. Instead, they just said, "bad news" upon our arrival and then tried to sell us a different vehicle priced at $10k more! The manager also told us the rebates guaranteed to us (again, in writing via text) were not available on the more expensive vehicle and added that they were not available on the first vehicle either. We showed him the text from Zeigler salesperson that very clearly and explicitly stated the rebates were available to "everyone" when I had clearly asked about whether we qualified or if there was a possibility we would not be eligible for some. The salesperson had replied "there are no gimmicks" and assured me (more than once) the rebates totaled $7k off the vehicle price. The manager then did say he would offer the rebates (the only reason they even get one star), but the other vehicle was still $5-7k more than the one we drove to purchase. What a joke! Waste of a full day, driving through storms to get there and waste of gas. Would not recommend to anyone, and after reading other reviews, it appears this may be pretty common practice for them.
