No problem. First oil change on new car we just recently purchased from you. In and out very quickly, even with no appointment. And you can't beat the price since the first one was no-charge. When I bought my Nissan last year I purchased a service plan that gives me every other oil change free with car wash included. I regret that decision. Negatives: - Every time I go in to get the oil ch plan that gives me every other oil change free with car wash included. I regret that decision. Negatives: - Every time I go in to get the oil changed, it takes way too long. A couple days ago it took over 2 hrs. I may just take my car to Jiffy Lube in the future even though I'm not close to using all my free ones at Nissan because I'd rather pay the $35 then spend 2 hrs at the Nissan dealership. - Every time I have to explicitly request the free car wash that is supposed to be automatic. There always seems to be hemming and hawing about "seeing if they can fit me in" or "there's a long backup" or "that's going to take awhile". Don't sell this as part of the service purchased if this is going to be what you offer!!! - The "upgrade packages" that are pushed every time I bring my car in for an oil change are ridiculous. $250 to check tire pressure (among a few other unnecessary services), come on! - Beyond the upgrade packages pushed, there is always a litany of other things pushed like unnecessary replacement of the air filter, wind shield, etc... Advisor said labor high because part needs programmed, info I found shows it doesnt. Advisor said use only Nissan parts but I know Bosch makes it and I could have bought for $500 less at Napa.Heard they r info I found shows it doesnt. I have been nothing but impressed with Frederick Nissan since I purchased my 2010 Sentra there in May of 2010. Their "3 for Free" program has been very valuable. I get every other oil change for free as since I purchased my 2010 Sentra there in May of 2010. Their "3 for Free" program has been very valuable. I get every other oil change for free as well as a free car wash by hand and free loaner if ever I should need one! They are always fast and friendly. I was never the kind of person to take my car to the dealer for service, but they make it incredibly easy and relatively reasonable to do so. More
My experience was better than previous visits. One service that I had agreed to costing $169.00 was determined to be not necessary. I appreciated their honest assessment. The service department at Frederick Nissan is the BEST! Marty and Doug are wonderful to work with and easy to talk to. They always explain what work is needed and what will be done. I have to send my praises (very delayed) to Marty and the service department. Two or three winters ago, I heard a noise that I thought was related to a belt. It was actually the timing chain and it ended up that my Quest needed to have the engine rebuilt. This process took about 2-3 weeks to diagnose and repair. Marty kept me informed and was often apologetic as to how long it was taking. This Quest is now going on 7 years. We have been Nissan customers since the mid-1980's and plan to continue to be. The quality and dependability of your cars is outstanding. Our first was the Stanza wagon and I'm on my 4th or 5th Quest (only because I wanted new features, not because they "wore out"). It has been the rare occasion (such as with my Quest) that we have had to come in for unscheduled service. I always know that I can depend on my Nissan and the service department to be there for me. My one suggestion - I had ordered rear tires for my 370 Z the week prior (at your parts department) and when it was discovered the tires are no longer avaialable through Nissan, I shoudl have been contacted. the week prior (at your parts department) and when it was discovered the tires are no longer avaialable through Nissan, I shoudl have been contacted. If I would have known this before bringing the car in for service, I could have had made other arrangements (from tirerack.com)to have tires shipped to Nissan. Unfortunately, I now have to bring my car in a second time to have the tires installed. More
The Express Service is fantastic, I was in-&-out in no time flat. Doug is fantastic at his job, always explains what is needed, very friendly and very informative.
