Trying for a $550 upsale for a 30K service is terrible and crappy. There is a 100K warranty covering all of those things. To ask someone to pay $550 for a basic 30K check is crazy. I mean, the vehicle ha and crappy. There is a 100K warranty covering all of those things. To ask someone to pay $550 for a basic 30K check is crazy. I mean, the vehicle has a 100K tune-up program and you want to inspect the PCV filter? That is just silly. The service sales lady also tried to sell me a $79 in-cabin microfilter, to offer to fill my tires with Nitrogen and to do a few other things. No thanks, there is no excuse to try and upsale these things. I expect certain attempts on upsales at the dealership, such as windshield wipers for $30 (that I can buy at auto stores for $12 and install myself), and I expect an attempt on the in-cabin microfilter, but $79? The part is $14 and is a 5 minute install. The tires were scuffed on the passenger side the day before the service. The tires are still scuffed on the same side. It appears they were not rotated. I anticipated an "X" rotation, but they might have gone from front to back. My concern is that they could have just wiped off the scuff to make it appear they were rotated. I don't want to have to mark tires to ensure they are rotated. It was a disappointing trip in for service. - Brian Eagle slimelime12@yahoo.com More
I was very happy with my service on my Scion TC yesterday (8/16/11). The service people ( sorry ,I don't remember names) were very courteous and professional. This dealership has a relaxed and helpful atmosphere. They are customer oriented and there is no pressure to have recommended repairs. I drive 25 miles to have my Murano serviced at this dealer even thou They are customer oriented and there is no pressure to have recommended repairs. I drive 25 miles to have my Murano serviced at this dealer even though I live 1 mile from another Nissan dealer. So far I am very pleased with this dealership and service is always able to acomodate my busy schedule. More
I called Tuesday morning with a brake issue, John got me an appointment for the same day. He was very courteous and helpful. Love this dealership! Bought my car in February and everyone was and has been exceptionally nice and accomodating. I was a bit dissappointed that I had to pay the full price for the oil change and not the price for the express services just coz I included other services that needed to be performed on my car. I dont see the logic or reasoning for me paying the full price. I think this was the last time bringing my car to this nissan dealership for any services. I have had several really bad dealership service experiences in the past, where my vehicle was returned with oil stains and scratches inside and out. So I made it clear up front that my expectations experiences in the past, where my vehicle was returned with oil stains and scratches inside and out. So I made it clear up front that my expectations where very high as far as getting the vehicle back in the same condition I dropped it off in. John and his team where great, they really went the extra mile to get the service done quickly while keeping the vehicle clean inside and out. Being a car enthusiast, I'm looking for a higher level of service then your typical dealership offers. I feel like John and the team delivered and I'm looking forward to working with Frederick Nissan for all my future automotive needs, service and sales. More
