JEFF, ED AND MARTY ARE TOTALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT CARS, FINANCING, AND SERVICE. WE PURCHASE TWO CARS OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND... JEFF KNEW ALL ABOUT ALL THE CARS WE LOOKED AT AND GAVE IN-DEPTH INSTRUCTION A FINANCING, AND SERVICE. WE PURCHASE TWO CARS OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND... JEFF KNEW ALL ABOUT ALL THE CARS WE LOOKED AT AND GAVE IN-DEPTH INSTRUCTION ABOUT THE 370Z WE PURCHASED. HE DID THE SAME WITH THE VERSA BUT THE VERSA WAS A PRETTY BASIC MODEL -- NOT TOO MANY BELLS AND WHISTLES. WITH THE 370Z, HE CALLED US AFTER THE PURCHASE BECAUSE HE JUST GOT OUT OF TRAINING AND WANTED TO SHOW US ADDITIONAL FEATURES. ED WAS GREAT BECAUSE HE POINTED OUT WHAT WE DID AND DIDN'T NEED FOR EACH VEHICLE AND FINANCING SCENARIO. MARTY HAS ALWAYS BEEN GREAT WITH SERVICE AND REPAIRS ON OUR TWO OTHER OLDER DATSUN/NISSANS AND TOOK CARE OF OUR PUNCH LIST ON THE NEW 370Z IN ONE DAY. WE'VE ALREADY RECOMMENDED FREDERICK NISSAN TO THREE OTHER FRIENDS WHO WERE "WOWED" BY THE NEW Z. WE ALSO GOT A GREAT TRADE IN VALUE ON OUR TRADE IN. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS! More
Gary -- I came in yesterday with a list of six items and all were resolved in one way or another. I am not satisfied with Corporate Nissan's response to the "squeaky brake problem", which your mechanic con all were resolved in one way or another. I am not satisfied with Corporate Nissan's response to the "squeaky brake problem", which your mechanic contacted Nissan's Service Area Rep. directly and their response was "that's the way it is"!! This is the second Pathfinder we've puchased - first one was a 2001 model - and in comparison to the 2010 LE the 2001 model rode better, had a better visor design, better MPG and wasn't as noisy inside. It had double visors to use at the same for the front and side all built into one location - the 2010 has a single visor and when used on the side there's no protection in front - in the side position the visor is not steady and jumps up and down - again very poor design for a $40,000 SUV!! Also the 2010 visors will not stay in a position where placed - in the full up position they don't stay and drop down slightly. Marty has a replacement set on order; however, I don't hold out much hope for them operating correctly or any better because they'll be the same poor design. After recent Body Shop repairs were completed, the trunk floor had a grease spot and a general light mess. This was cleaned up to my satisfaction. Otherwise, yesterday's service was acomplished completely and thoroughly as always. I've done a pretty good job on your eyes and brain with all my comments, but if you are able to convey my design complaints to Nissan Design Dept., may be they'll put some sensible things back into the Pathfinder, rather than so many "bells and whistles", which are a distraction to safe driving principles and concentration for the driver! Drove into dealer unannounced, battery had discharged but recharged by Nissan emergency service, dealer corrected the problem, Good! But it took over three hours. Service help took off over lunch and car jus recharged by Nissan emergency service, dealer corrected the problem, Good! But it took over three hours. Marty is the best person that I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. He is always pleasant, friendly, very helpful, patient and understanding. Denny and Lisa were great to work with. Denny did everything he said he was going to do and my car was ready as promised. My only issue was I used a loaner car which Denny was nice enough to get for everything he said he was going to do and my car was ready as promised. My only issue was I used a loaner car which Denny was nice enough to get for me, however, it was completely out of gas. I don't mind putting gas in it but I was headed to work and had to take time to get gas. Other than that the experience was probably the best I have had for service anywhere. More
I am the third member of my family to purchase from Frederick Nissan. My family knows some of the employees from previous dealerships. I felt that Martin and Nick went out of their way to please me. My only dissapointment was that I did not receive remote starts and should have with a vehicle purchased. I would recommend this dealership because when you walk in the front door the staff looks you in the eye when they speak and shake your hand. You don't find that at many places these days! The reason why I gave Frederick Nissan an excellent rating is because I took my car into them to get serviced for an oxygen sensor replacement. My car started hestitated at shifting gears (2000rpm)foun rating is because I took my car into them to get serviced for an oxygen sensor replacement. My car started hestitated at shifting gears (2000rpm)found out it was my oxygen sensor malfunctioning, got my car back today 9/14/2010 and it drives a whole lot better. My car broke down and was unrepairable so my daughter and I went out with no money down looking for a car. After going to several dealerships and feeling like they were trying to get over on me and give me a I went out with no money down looking for a car. After going to several dealerships and feeling like they were trying to get over on me and give me a basic car for the price of a loaded car we found ourselves at the Frederick Nissan. Mr. Martinez could not have been more helpful getting my daughter and me into a new loaded car with a great price. I would recommend them to anyone. He also returned a rental car we had the very next day so I could take the new car home and not fool with the rental. This was on a Friday and that Monday he called to make sure I was 100 percent happy. Great customer service. More
