My driveway is 600 feet long, and every winter, I get stuck at home any time there is more than 6 inches of snow because my 1999 Camry just can't make up the driveway. I decided it was time for a vehicle with all-wheel or 4-wheel drive, and fell in love with the Murano after looking at a Highlander, a RAV4, an Escape, a CRV and an Outback. Plus, two co-workers own a Murano and LOVE their vehicles. I visited two other Nissan dealerships (closer to my home) before visiting Frederick Nissan, which happened to have a great selection of Muranos listed on their website. Kyle Warfield, my sales representative, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered my questions about the different models of the Murano. I settled on the Graphite Blue LE. We agreed upon a fair price (using internet pricing comparisons from other dealers). The financing process was quick and painless - I was able to take advantage of the current 0% finance rate. After the sale, Kyle spent quite a bit of time explaining the extensive list of features in my new Murano. This was my first experience with Nissan - it was a great, no-pressure purchase and I would recommend Kyle and Frederick Nissan to anyone considering the purchase of a Nissan. I hope that any follow-up appointments for service are also positive. More
I noticed a very large van in the lot one Sunday, which was not the typical type of vehicle the dealership carries or the type of vehicle I would normally seek. However, I recently opened a catering company and was in need of a larger vehicle. I was driving the Nissan Frontier I purchased from Frederick Nissan in 2002. I really loved my truck and I love Nissans, but my business was calling for a larger vehicle. I inquired about the van online and was contacted by Martin almost immediately. I was on a very tight budget, and was willing to wait for another van if I couldn't work out a great deal on this one. At first, though Martin was very helpful, the numbers were not adding up to a deal I could afford. After a few rounds, I was offered a very good deal on my trade and a price I could work with. The deal was done quickly and efficiently. I came by the dealership the next day with payment, knowing that Martin was enjoying a day off. I just wanted to leave the payment to hold the van through the weekend while I went on a short trip. Nick and Jeff took over and got the paperwork done for me that day, which I didn't even ask them to do. I believe credit for the sale should be shared between Martin and Jeff Lasko. Jeff spent about an hour preparing paperwork and getting my vehicle ready for me to take home. He was gracious and very helpful to me. Nick and Ed also did an exceptional job tying up the loose ends. To be honest, the only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that Steve Farley was walking around the day I purchased the van and never even acknowledged my presence. I provided his dealership with a very smooth and easy sale, and would have appreciated a word of thanks or at least a greeting from him. I have always really loved dealing with Frederick Nissan, and I miss seeing Gene Hickman around the dealership smiling and checking in on everyone. Mr. Farley may have been extra busy that day, but he passed by me at least 4 times without so much as glancing in my direction. Besides this, I had a very good experience and am enjoying my new van. More
I had the oil change in my car, but never knew that there was an extra charge for the tires rotation and up to $30.00. I was not happy because I was not told about such a charge before. OK, I did not come to buy a vehicle intentionally but thought that it could happen if the price was right and if the trade in offer was good. I got a letter saying your dealership needed used cars and that the 2008 Altima I bought from you would fetch more than 125% of blue book value and most likely more. Well I got 15K for mine which was what I saw as Good condition for my car on Kelly bluebook, so I really did not get quite the offer i was expecting and was really not provided with an explanation as to why I was not offered more. Biggest complaint is that I was there for 5 hours, from noon to 5:00 to buy the new 2011 Altima I purchased. I am in the Real Estate business, and will tell you I think it should take less time to buy a car then it does a House, and in this case it was not. Martin my salesman, was Great, I don't think he had anything to do with the delay, but he was very attentative and has contacted me more than twice helping me with other items that needed to be taken care of post sale. Dave is new in your finance, I understand being new can be difficult, but I was not so pleased with the financing side that we went through. Apparently the Gap insurance document was either lost or not signed by me and my wife, which we really did not want, but agreed to take after being told it was worth it and would not raise my payment much. So we will be back to sign it so the bank has all of the documentation needed. I did end up with 0% financing which is awesome, but my payment also went up by 150.00 per month which I was trying to avoid, so felt the 0% was a decent trade off. Overall, Martin was great as I stated, the Finance side avg, probably because of the gentlemen being new, but also because I felt pressured to take other offers that I don't think I had to have, but oh well I accepted them anyway.
