My experience with Frederick Nissan was one of the most pleasant I have ever had with a car dealership. My first contact was Jeff Lasko (salesman) on a Friday evening. My daughter & I were looking at used pleasant I have ever had with a car dealership. My first contact was Jeff Lasko (salesman) on a Friday evening. My daughter & I were looking at used cars. He was quick and efficient and was able to answer all my questions. He knew about vehicle features and could immediately give me a price. At that time I had no idea what I wanted to buy. I returned a couple of hours later with my husband, for a second look at a couple of cars. As soon as Jeff spotted us, he came over to introduce himself to my husband. I took a used Versa for a test drive. I promised to return on Saturday so that my van could be appraised. Never once did Jeff say "what will it take for you to buy this car tonight?" I really object to that selling line. It is a complete turn-off and I would have walked away immediately. My daughter & I returned on Saturday. After some serious thought, I decided to look at new cars. Jeff greeted us warmly and took my van keys to get the vehicle appraised. After discussing the possibility of a new car purchase Jeff realized I was interested in the Versa on the showroom floor. He quickly made the arrangements to move the car outside for a test drive. I drove the car and really liked it. The first appraisal on my Caravan was too low. I had a specific monthly payment in mind. I explained to Jeff that the payment was going to be a huge deciding factor in the purchase of a new vehicle. I also know I have an excellent credit rating & I expected an interest rate reflective of my credit score. After consulting with management, Jeff returned with an offer that met my expectations. In all fairness, I wanted an offer that benefitted not only myself, but the dealership. After all, they are in business to make money. My husband was able to meet me at the dealership to sign all the papers and when I left, I was driving a 2011 Versa. Never once did Jeff make me feel pressured. In fact, he made sure to always recognize my daughter's presence and engaged in conversation with her--making the experience a pleasant one for her also. He & my husband enjoyed animated conversation too. It was just a happy experience. More

My husband & I had been checking into new vehicles for several weeks.We needed an AWD or 4WD. We showed up at this dealer, on a whim, looking for the Nissan Juke. None were available R/T the Japanese horrific weather trials 2 months ago--we were met on the lot by salesman, Steve Latour, & I am VERY grateful we did. Steve recommended we check into the Nissan Rogue. What a good choice--we went for a test drive & were very inpressed by the handling, smooth ride & the interior features, on the basic model, were quite impressive.
