Doug was knowledgeable, listened well and showed much attention to capturing in detail the nature of the vehicle problem. He was timely, professional and friendly, providing just the right amount of info attention to capturing in detail the nature of the vehicle problem. He was timely, professional and friendly, providing just the right amount of information and feedback while reviewing the full list of suggested maintenance and repair. He was able to suggest different service/repair options that would be cost conscious, all the while keeping the car on the maintenance track best suited for the vehicle. He provided updates throughout the repair process, which ultimately took several days. Franklin is extremely knowledgeable, was able to accurately pinpoint the repair issues, and provided a diagnostic review in a professional and friendly manner; he made sure everything was understood and answered all questions. Through a road test he further demonstrated and explained his analysis, all the while keeping an open mind to new developments as he actually began the repair. It is obvious that he takes much pride in his work and loves what he does, thus exuding a confidence that communicates that things will be done well -- in an orderly, methodical, and thorough manner. My husband was very excited and bought a Infi To whom it may concern; After looking at so many places we went to Frederick Nissan to get our car. My husband was very excited and bought a Infinity SUV from them. After a test drive my husband informed the sales person and the manager about the tire pressure light been turned on and they told my husband it was due to the cold weather and it’ll turn off automatically after a while. There was also water inside the headlights which we mentioned to the dealership about and they did nothing except assured us the water will eventually dry. Since they were able to convince us with a clean inspection report and the well used history report of the vehicle, we decided to by the vehicle after all. Well, first they drilled holes in the front bumper to place the tags. Of course after a good argument they painted the bumper and place the tag on the valid spot. Even after we drove the vehicle from the dealership, the tire pressure light still kept coming on and air was leaking from the rear passenger tire . After while my husband contacted the dealership and took the vehicle to get the tire inspected and they kept saying nothing was wrong. These issues were brought to their attention before the 30 day warranty period was over. However, even with the warm weather, the tire pressure light still kept doing the same thing and my husband took the vehicle to the mechanic shop at the Kensington Shell where he was told that there is a leak in the rear passenger tire sensor valve. This was realized by putting the tire in the deep water. We went back to the dealership and mentioned this to the manager who told my husband that they can't do anything about it since the 30 day warranty was over. At this point I was certain that they knew what the issue was but they didn't want to take care of it and put us in danger by letting us drive this vehicle. I honestly don't understand how they passed the safety inspection on this vehicle with the leaking sensor valve and the water filled head light boxes. Water in the headlight caused us a burned light bulb which cost $260 just for a one bulb with labor charges. After putting up with a big fight the manager agreed to take care of the tire issue without free labor charge and we paid $110 for the part. But the funny thing is the pressure light was still on and 6 days after my husband got a flat tire on 270 south bound on the way to work with the same tire that was just taken care of by the dealership. My husband then took it to the Nissan dealership in Rockville MD where they inspected the tire and found corrosion in the sensor. The mechanic informed my husband that the corrosion needed to be clean which they should have done when they replaced it at the dealership. My husband call the dealership in Frederick and mentioned about this to the manager who told him that he apologize for what happened. I don’t think just an apology is good enough in situations like this. From the day we bought this vehicle and until today we stop by Costco or at another gas station every two to three times to get air checked in the vehicle. I feel that the dealership put us in serious danger by lying to us and selling a vehicle with all this issues. I wouldn’t recommend anybody buying a car from the Frederick Nissan dealership without having the car tested by another mechanic for safety reasons. More
I left my car at night there after getting a flat tire & requested an oil change & to fix the tire. First of all, I had to call 3 times just to get someone in the service department to answer the phone & & requested an oil change & to fix the tire. First of all, I had to call 3 times just to get someone in the service department to answer the phone & ask them about the tire. When she called me back she told me I needed a new tire & it would cost $170 for the tire & all of the required services that were needed (i.e. tire rotation/alignment). Even though other places had quoted me much cheaper prices, I decided to pay the extra amount at this place because I THOUGHT that the dealership was more reputable & I would rather pay more & have the peace of mind trusting that everything would be fixed correctly & efficiently. Obviously, I was incorrect because not only did they change the price to over $200 when my boyfriend went to pick up the car (which, by the way, was paid with my credit card that I did not authorize to be charged for that amount); but also when I drove the car it was wobbly & would veer to the side. According to other mechanics I spoke with, this would be either because the wrong size tire was used or they did not rotate/align the car correctly-both of which I was assured would be taken care when I spoke with the representative over the phone. I emailed the service manager, Gary Lewis, who sent me this link for feedback & before completing this survey, asked that he resolve the issue & never received a response. Now I am going to have to take a day off of work & pay another company to fix the problem I've already paid this company to do. I've lost all trust in this dealership & will never bring my car there for anything ever again. I will also make sure I share this experience with as many people as possible so that they are not taken advantage of, as I was. This dealership even makes me want to trade my Nissan in for any other vehicle because of how horrible the service is. I'm sure this company makes money bullshitting people when they're looking to buy a vehicle, but they will not follow through on their promises & will not have longevity with the reputation they are building. Frederick Nissan is just another dishonest, untrusting, conniving dealership that will hustle your for a quick buck & never follow through on their promises. More
Have not had the car no more longer then a day so I will not give a quality of work high then GOOD. It may have been great but I don't have any thing to go on right now. Did not check around for difference not give a quality of work high then GOOD. It may have been great but I don't have any thing to go on right now. Did not check around for difference prices for the work that was done at other place, I decided to go with you because the dealer should be able to do the work the correct way for what they charge for label. My routine service was quick and painless. They brought out a filter that needed replacing explaining that it wasn't necessary this time, but should be done soon.
