I came in to Frederick Nissan after reading and hearing about their good reputation. The day before I came in, I filled out the online credit app and was contacted promptly by Ed. He arranged for me to have an appointment with Kyle Warfield. I came in and was greeted nicely, offered a beverage or snack and then Kyle got right down to business. I have never had a good car buying experience and I've probably owned 5 or 6 vehicles thus far. I informed Kyle of that and he assured me that he would do everything he could to help. He helped me narrow down my choices and we found an Altima [used] that was in great shape and a great price that was within my budget. We went on a test drive and he answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly so I became more familiar with the car. Once the test drive was finished, he kept things rolling and made the process easy and painless. He did not pressure me to buy the car. He kept up with the finance people so that the paperwork was done as quickly as possible. I enjoyed my experience there and that's a first for me at a car dealership. I'm liking my Altima and am happy with my decision to have chosen Frederick Nissan and would recommend them to friends and family. Great job! More
I needed to have a strut replaced on my 2011 Sentra, but I just had surgery and couldn't drive so the technician came to pick up my car at my house, fix it, and return it to my house. Our new Altima was in for Sealcoat treatment. I called John to let him know that our license plate was not securely fastened to the car. Purchased new truck on December 20th. Purchase contract included adding step rails and side moldings (We Owe). Made an appointment for Jan 5th while the truck was in the service bay. They checked the paint color to see if side moldings came pre-painted. I understood that it might be a 3 hour wait on Jan 5th. Later decided to add a bed liner - delivery would coinside with Jan 5th appointment. I confirmed with John that the bed liner could be installed on Jan 5th as well. Arrived Jan. 5th. Asked if I was leaving the truck - I said no (I live 52 miles from the dealership). John said they could do the bed liner and the step rails, but the side moldings needed to be painted (didn't come pre-painted) and that the paint department wouldn't paint them without physically seeing the truck (which I thought Dec. 20th covered). John says they need 7-10 days to do the side moldings. I got the feeling that the side moldings were not in the building, but I don't know this for sure. So, the short version is that I'm disappointed that a "We Owe" side molding takes me a second 104 mile round trip to the dealership and that it couldn't be completed before January 19th (a full month after the truck was purchased). I had a great experience with my salesperson, Steve Latour and then Daniel Goers for financing. Both were able to deliver price, product and financing that suited my budget and needs. I love my new Nissan Altima with its enhanced features and improved gas mileage and my insurance agent gave me the pleasant news that the new Altima would be cheaper to insure. I would definitely recommend Frederick Nissan as well as Steve and Daniel to friends and family. I am a repeat customer, having bought my first Altima in 2005. More
My visit this time was the sixth in an attempt to correct the squeaking brakes on my 2010 Pathfinder. Evidently it took the involvement of Nissan's Technical Group to arrive at a solution, thereby, hopefull the squeaking brakes on my 2010 Pathfinder. Evidently it took the involvement of Nissan's Technical Group to arrive at a solution, thereby, hopefully, correcting the "squeak" problem. As you are aware NTG recommended the rotors be re-surfaced and new pads be installed on the front wheels. With the NTG being contacted for the repair solution, perhaps the problem has been resolved. Only time will tell and if this is the resolution to the squeak problem, it will make us satisfied. It just seems to us that this correction method should have been done on the third or fourth visit, which could have eliminated the problem early on and satisfied the customer sooner. More
