Our salesman Reagan promised us a generic FOB since the vehicle we purchased only had one key. When we went to pick it up the next day, he told us he told us the only thing he promised us was a $7 key. The generic key costs approx. $100. That type of greediness cost the our future business and we will make sure to share our experience with our friends and family. Also, they try to slip a $795 gap insurance to your purchase price without asking you if you want it. They get a large commission from selling these. Check with your own insurance company or lender. You can get this coverage a lot cheaper. And make sure you read all charges and ask questions. Their finance person talks really fast to try and throw you off. More
I've been buying cars from the Westland family for many years, I'm on my 5th car I've purchased from them, and I can say this, I've always been treated like family. I've not once argued over their alr many years, I'm on my 5th car I've purchased from them, and I can say this, I've always been treated like family. I've not once argued over their already low pricing, have never felt pressured. And heres why I recommend this dealer. I know for a fact that they stand behind every car they sell, in the 18 years I've been purchasing cars from them I've had one break down and 3 minor mishaps all of which ended up costing me nothing zero zilch to repair. And my buying experiance with this dealer has been great, I've always been able to drive as many cars as I needed to find the one I liked and then allowed to leave and called once all the paperwork was ready to sign and my new car was washed up and fueled up. The service department is one of the worst I have ever been too! Setup an appointment for a Wednesday to fix a recall and went to drop off vehicle and was told they only did the specific recalled item on been too! Ok I let this go and scheduled an appointment for the following Thursday to have a few recalled items fixed. Was called early afternoon and told recalls were all taken care but had a problem with a hose and they would be done by that afternoon around 4. Well apparently they did not finish the recalled item because around 4 I received a call saying they ran out of a spray coating and probably would not get it in time that day to get done. Very unhappy with service department and will never deal with them again! Will drive as far as need be to get somebody else to work on vehicle. More
I find it funny to read these reviews. I thought it would be helpful but found out that people get jaded by their own misconception of reality. I did not realize how many people have paranoid delusions that the dealer is out to get them. I bought my 2013 Hyundai Sonata from Westland Hyundai and got a great deal and was treat very fairly. I don't expect anyone to not make a living in what they do. I really appreciated the fact that they gave me options and did not try to force me to finance at a higher rate and for me to make 6 payments and refinance it. They showed me ways to protect myself, again giving me the option.If you are looking for a fair deal, honest people and a Great vehicle, I would definitely buy a Westland Hyundai. More
I went to this dealership thinking they were to small to be able to match the price of the bigger dealerships in Salt Lake City. I was glad to find out that they have the same pricing discounts as other de be able to match the price of the bigger dealerships in Salt Lake City. I was glad to find out that they have the same pricing discounts as other dealerships and are very upfront about it. I am happy to support good local businesses like this one. Everyone is kind and helpful. It is a small dumpy looking location but besides that the experience was great. I was suprised to find out service is closed on Saturdays but hopefully they can grow their business enough to extend service hours in the future. Dont let the dumpy looks of this store fool you they are a great dealership. More
