Poor customer service My engine blew on the way to a family reunion and this was the closet dealer (70 miles away). The initial reception was fabulous. They let me know t My engine blew on the way to a family reunion and this was the closet dealer (70 miles away). The initial reception was fabulous. They let me know they would take a day to do an assessment then submit the paperwork to Hyundai to get the warranty repairs approved. A day later I got a call that they were ordering parts and that it should take until the following Friday. Then comes the nightmare. Every time I called on the "completion date" there was some other reason why it wasn't done yet. This happened every few days for 3 weeks. I never once got a proactive phone call from the service guys saying "we told you X but it won’t be until Y because of Z". Finally, one month past the day I took the car in I got a phone call. Low and behold they found loose ball joint and wanted me to spend another $240 and no the care wasn't done yet. I politely refused. I did send in a note about my frustrations to the service manager and the GM. I got a follow up email from someone asking if they could call me. That was last Friday and low and behold no follow up by the end of Monday. Par for the course. 2 stars because the actual repairs, albeit taking a month, seemed get my car back to ship shape. More
