He worked and worked to make sure he did not show us anything that didn't work for us! He looked at his lot and all the other lots in the group, he rufused to get our hopes up on something we couldn't qualify for. This is the third time I have come back to him and every time he has gone above and beyond all our expectations! We have never been more impressed by a dealership or salesperson. He was careful and applied no pressure and never once asked us to compermise on what we were looking for. Best deal experience and have told all my friends and family to come here to buy, and ask for Mark! More

Horrible disconnect with online appointment scheduling. Got a new Chevy, set up an account with my.gm.com. That worked great. They showed me recalls my car was still in need of. They also took me directly to the Young Chevrolet of Layton's website and showed me exact appointment times that were available to address my recall issues. I took half a day off from work and scheduled for the next day, 9:30am. I received an email from GM saying, "Thank you for scheduling your service appointment with Young Chevrolet. We look forward to servicing your 2006 CHEVROLET IMPALA. Here are the details for your appointment...." Then it read, "One of our service advisors will be there to greet you when you arrive to answer any additional questions you may have. Here at Young Chevrolet we recognize that you have many choices when deciding where to take your IMPALA for service, and we appreciate the fact that you've chosen us. We will do our best to ensure you are COMPLETELY SATISFIED each and every time you visit our dealership. If you have questions or concerns about this appointment, please call our service department at: (801) 660-1802. Thanks again for choosing Young Chevrolet. See you soon!" Seems like the appointment is a lock, right? I showed up precisely at 9:30am. First of all, I couldn't get the attention of any service rep. Finally, after getting the attention of someone, he looked up my name and the appointment time and had NO RECORD OF ME or my car. I left, and about an hour later I get a call from a lady service rep saying she got a message about my appointment, but that the appointments are only "tentative" and that they were all booked up today and could not see me. I asked, "Then why did your online service allow me to make the appointment and why did I get a confirmation email about the appointment?" She just said, "Well, it's not my fault. These appointments are tentative and you should have called us." So she put the blame on me even though I have an email confirming the appointment with nothing on the email that says I needed to call and reconfirm this appointment. Definitely a disconnect between GM, Young Chevrolet's online service, and what they actually see on their computers. It was a joke and a total was of my morning. First impressions are everything. Glad there are two other Chevy dealers nearby that could address my recall issues. More
CROOKS Went in for warranty work, the work was 100% covered by gm, they then tried to explain that it would take 9 hrs of labor to move a cross member on the Went in for warranty work, the work was 100% covered by gm, they then tried to explain that it would take 9 hrs of labor to move a cross member on the suspension to get to the warranty covered part charging me $1000. I called Seiners in sandy and they quoted me 1 hour to move the cross member. Either the techs at young are incompetent, or they were trying to rip me off. Needless to say I ran out of that place as fast as I could. (Seiners ended up waiving the 1 hour of labor as a courtesy, which I did not ask for.) Seiners did great! They have a customer for life! Young needs serious overhaul in their management team. More
Great experience with the Service Department! I stopped on my way home to see what was wrong with the windshield wiper fluid on my husband's truck. He was planning to fix it after we found out wha I stopped on my way home to see what was wrong with the windshield wiper fluid on my husband's truck. He was planning to fix it after we found out what was wrong and picked up the parts. Mike Huffman looked at the truck and determined that I needed a new hose. He said they had them in their parts department and he'd call over to get one. My plan was to get the part and take it home for my husband to replace, Mike showed me the best way to do it. When the part arrived, Mike said that since he already had it taken apart to diagnose the problem, he would just replace the hose for me. He only charged me the price of the part and also filled the washer fluid. In the meantime, I mentioned that I needed to buy a new latch for the bed of the truck. He found that and replaced it also. My husband works very long hours this time of year, so these acts of kindness meant a great deal to both of us. Thank you Mike!!!!! More
Stay far away.... they are the worst dealer to go to. Sadly purchased a truck for my wife from this place. It was a lifted 2015 silverado 1500 ltz. They did the lift kit themselves in their shop. (Which by the way has not even the first clue about 4 wheel drive.) The truck had 17 miles on it, my wife drove to the dealership to get a massive scratch removed. As soon as she pulled into the dealership, the front end of her 50k truck fell. When they took the truck into the shop, at first the "technician" and service manager tried telling me it was normal for that brand of lift kit to fall. Later the dealership admitted they hadn't torqued the bolts to the control arms or steering knuckles. So they shifted and seared off. Quality work right? The young group is terrible especially the chev store. More

I have researched a lot online, and have been dreading visiting dealerships because I did not want to be bombarded with high pressure sales tactics. I was pleasantly surprised at how low-pressure my visit was, and how helpful my sales rep was with showing me different models and allowing me to test drive several, while knowing I would not be buying that day. This experience was very helpful in my quest of finding the "right car" for me. I will definitely look to purchase from Young Chevrolet, when that right car comes along. More
