my 1st contact at the dealership was billy calldrillo.he approached and asked what ype of vehicle I was interested in.I mentioned the sorento and we went for a test drive.upon return he sked what my though approached and asked what ype of vehicle I was interested in.I mentioned the sorento and we went for a test drive.upon return he sked what my thoughts were.I said I liked the test car and if the price was right I would purchase it.after a couple of trips to and fro from the salesmanagers office we agreed upon a price.he worked hard to get me the agreed upon price.we went to the finance office where I met erin she got me a good interest rate signed the agreement and asked me what time I would like to pick the car up the next day I picked the car up at the approximate time.The dealership did a super job on prepping the car. both people were personable and did everything to satisfy me.I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer to anyone pauln xavier More
Went to purchase a Kia, and found one i was interested in. I was asked to put down a deposit, not to worry it's refundable. Later that day I wanted my wife who was in another city to see the car online. She found it listed online for a thousand dollars less than the selling price i was quoted. The dealer quickly changed my price when I told them I saw the internet price. Still my wife wanted to see it before we purchased it, plus there was a huge cigarette burn in the drivers seat I wanted fixed since the car was just a year old. Thats when i found out the deposit was only refundable if the price was above a certain number. I never spoke with anyone from financing so I still dont know what they wanted for monthly installments. In the end the manager agreed to refund 400 of my hard earned 500. Apparently it cost a hundred dollars to get a car ready, and I didn't even get to drive it. I was actually going to take my wife by when she got back to see that car. Now im just going to go to another dealer. What started out as a good experience went bad over a hundred dollars. I will not be recommending them. More
Went to the York Kia dealership to purchase a new Kia Optima. Negogiated the price and details with Josie over email who was helpful. I stressed in my emails that I wanted to make sure that we agreed on a final price since it would be a hassle for me to get to the dealership. The next day I drove to the dealership thinking I would be just going through the formalities and purchase the car. To my surprise, the new manager working that day would not honor the price that I agreed to the day earlier and wanted to raise the price by $500. I might have bought the car anyway if that was the original price agreed over email, but the whole experience soured my view of the dealership and I didn't want to give them my business after this. On the positive side I appreciated how the sales people I dealt with weren't pushy and Josie's responsiveness over email. More
Received below invoice price by email from Josie before I even went into dealership. Salesman Greg was very friendly and relaxed., No sales pressure. Just a pleasant discussion. When it came time to buy the vehicle I went there and choose the color I wanted as well as the trim and signed the papers with no hassle because the price was already accepted via email. Documentation fee of $399 high while everybody else is at $299. I would recommend going about purchasing a vehicle through the internet this way you can negoitate the best rate and price in writing. I came in for a Tire Rotation and Oil Change for my 2010 Kia Soul. At first glance this was the cleanest service area I have ever seen. The first time I came to York Kia was when my 2007 Kia needed brakes. I leased my car from Quirk and was very unhappy with them and York was down the street from my house so I decided to try them. I met Anthony he was great, very helpful,and pleasant. My lease was up in October 2010, I was not going to get a new Kia because I was so unsatisfied with Quirk. I went to look at my other 2 choices in cars and they weren't like my Kia, I LOVED my Kia. Just for the heck of it I went to York Kia and met Mike Milford. He was awesome, patient, kind, nice personality and knew his stuff. Then I met Erin and she was just like Mike. They sealed the deal and I was very happy with getting another Kia, like I said I LOVE my Kia. If it wasn't for these 3 people I never would have tried a Kia dealer again. They are a great team and an asset to your company. I would recommend them and York Kia to everyone!! More
This dealership made right with a misunderstanding with paperwork. At first I thought it was turning out to be a bad experience, but in the end they made right. Mike was very helpful to help us refine our choice of car model, without ever being pushy. He did not hesitate to go to very bumpy roads for the test drive. The inventory was the more extensive we've seen. Follow-up e-mail inquiries were answered in great details and very fast. I just hate being harassed by sales guys, we had again our share of that in this process while visiting competing dealers, but definitely not with Mike and his manager. Courtesy and knowledge were the name of the game here. We were provided with a true service, in a very candid and straight manner, way different from the experience of being taken advantage of and being manipulated we often face in such process. Mike did his best to truly understand our needs, what was of value to us, and what was not, and to adjust to our pace. At the end, we took another offer which proved slightly more economical for us, but I know Mike and his manager did their absolute best to win our business. He was notably the one who pointed out a great way for us to save $750 (a little known "back to school" incentive), which nobody else would have ever mentioned... Only caveat: a documentation fee of $399 while everybody else is at $299. I actually feel bad that we didn't give them our business. Next time... More
