If I could rate this place a zero star i would.. the people there have no information about the vehicle and then when there is a issue you have to fight to get it fixed even though you spend 5k on a war people there have no information about the vehicle and then when there is a issue you have to fight to get it fixed even though you spend 5k on a warranty. Then you leave a review on Google and "the owner" says he would like to discuss the issue leaves no phone number and then you left with calling the same people you had a issue with from the beginning. Bought 2 cars cash over 70k and nothing but issues after they got there money. They told us they would buff the scratches out of one of our cars that were in it when we bought it waited over 2 weeks got the car with the same road debri that was on the car when it went into service. I have to spend 400$ the have a outside company buff it and the as well told me the car was not buffed.. that is only some of the issues.. do not buy from this place. I will continue to write reviews on this place so people can be informed. BUYER BEWARE. More
Wanted $1450 for A/C repair. 2nd opinion, actual cost $208. I paid them $132.00 to diagnose the problem with the rear A/C. I was told my car needed a new rear A/C condenser core and expansion valve. Cost for re I paid them $132.00 to diagnose the problem with the rear A/C. I was told my car needed a new rear A/C condenser core and expansion valve. Cost for repair, $1450. Took it to a local independent shop. They located the leak and advised me it was the Schader valve leaking. Cost to replace the valve and add Freon, $208. It now works like new. I took the repair invoice back to the dealership to ask how could they get the diagnosis so wrong? The difference is astounding. The service manager, Michael L. danced around the subject as though he on Dancing with the Stars. His reasons made no sense and I pointed that out to him. I requested a refund of my $132 based on the clear misrepresentation of what was wrong. After about 20 minutes of me explaining the ridiculous nature of his excuses and clear lack of willingness to concede his technician might have missed the mark he offered this even more ridiculous offer. He offered for me to bring my car back to the dealership and he would have the technician remove the parts he said needed to be replaced and show them to me to prove he was right. My response, “Michael, do realize how ridiculous that would be? It will cost you more money to pay the tech to remove and reinstall those parts along with the time it takes to evacuate the system and recharge it. You’d be way ahead if you just refunded my money.” He held his ground. No refund. It’s been a week now and my A/C system works great. The quote I was given by Yates GMC was clearly a scam to get my money. No legitimate troubleshooting had been performed. No consideration was given to customer satisfaction by Michael the service manager. It’s shameful that a guy like him would be in a position of management in such a competitive industry. More

Ashley I just wanted to share with everyone that has not had the opportunity to experience amazing customer service as I haved at Yates GMC Avondale! Ashley Salinas in the Service Department has been nothing but the best with me and my vehicle. Every time i go in for service she will treat me like my time and life is valuable. She will have a car loaner ready for me to continue with my day instead of me wasting my whole morning waiting for my truck. I can always count with her genuine advise when it comes to my truck maintenance. She even goes above and beyond and calls my extended warranty insurance company of she finds anything wrong with my truck and lets me knows she took care of it instead of me dealing with it. Please visit Yates GMC and ask for Ashley, i guarantee you will be very well treated and you will no longer go elsewhere for any of your vehicles maintenance! I have A good family friend who own gmc dealerships out of state and I was recommended to use Yates. All of the staff has gone over and above to take care of any questions-none really oil change, keys and key fobs...have had with my gmc. Very nice feeling to know where to refer my friends. I will also buy my next vehicle from them knowing how they treat a new customer. Customer service is what this place is about. Very similar to my friends GMC dealership - More

The last time I had service with Yates, the service advisor told me the technician said both my tie rods were broken and needed to be replaced so last week I brought my vehicle in to get the recommend advisor told me the technician said both my tie rods were broken and needed to be replaced so last week I brought my vehicle in to get the recommend repairs done. About an hour after dropping of my Yukon, I received a call from the advisor saying the tie rods were actually fine, but there was some play in the CV boots. He said it's would be something to think about next time, but I could put it off if I wanted to. He then told me that GMC recommends doing a transmission flush every 30k miles after 100k and I was right at that point so since they had the car there anyways I told him to go ahead and do that. Please keep in mind, I understand I have a 2007 GMC Yukon and yes I has 130k miles, but I've babied this car its entire life. I bought it from Yates and I've had EVERY single service done there. This car was running like new when I brought it in with no problems what so ever. With that being said. After picking up my Yukon, the next day I noticed that it didn't quite seem to be shifting like it should be. I put it off for a couple of days to make sure it wasn't in my mind because it was intermittent. One the 3rd day I called and made an appointment to bring it back to see what the deal was. After bringing it back, I received a call from Jay who is the service advisor. He told me that there was definitely something wrong and that they were still doing testing on the vehicle. I told him I had to be to work by 5 and he told me that they would put me in a loaner till my car was done. After calling ahead of time to stress the urgency of my having to leave once I got there I arrived at 4:30 to where I was greeted by Ed Trueblood who is the Service Director. He proceeded to tell me that a flush wouldn't cause any damage to the transmission like that and they weren't responsible. After going back and forth with him on this I told him that I'm not sure how they do the flush, but he couldn't tell me 100% that the damage wasn't caused by Yates regardless of what service was done. I explained to him the vehicle was fine before I brought it in and now I'm having issues. It's not to difficult to come to the conclusion that I did. Whether it was the flush or some act performed by the technician to damage the vehicle while in the care of the dealership, something was done incorrectly. On top of that, Mr. Trueblood told me that they don't recommend doing anything to the transmission after 100K miles because things like this could happen and I looked at him and tried explaining that the only reason I had it done in the first place was because his service advisor said it was "Highly Recommended"! He again told me that there was nothing they were going to be able to do for me and at that point I told him this wasn't over and I had to get to my meeting. So they pulled my car around, I got it, and I'm not sure where they went, but I was about to run out of gas. So not only did I go through all of this with no positive outcome, I was late and I was out of gas leaving the dealership. More
Bought a new truck from this dealer, got the usual treatment during the purchase, I noted that the truck had a minor problem that needed to be addressed during the sale, so they said no problem bring treatment during the purchase, I noted that the truck had a minor problem that needed to be addressed during the sale, so they said no problem bring it back in and the service department with take care of it. Well I have had the truck to their service department on three separate occasions and on each occasion the service advisor has arrogant and condescending, demonstrating that this dealership cares nothing about their customers beyond the sale and to make matter even worse – the vehicle is still not fixed, in fact they have not even tried to fix it, they just call me to pick it up but the defect is still present… and when I point that out they act like they are shocked and tell me I will need another appointment.
