Below is the original review I posted on March 6th and Serj demanded it be removed. It was removed, in good faith that Serj and XcelCars would return the money to the bank. Six additional dayd to the original 14days and the money has still not been returned and per Serj's own words, he is refusing to return the bank's money (this was loud and clear this morning while on the phone). No vehicle. No accountability by the owner of XcelCars. No money returned. The shady and unethical business practices of this dealership are unheard of even to a financial institution. 0/10- do not recommend More

I wish I would have seen reviews prior to purchasing a lemon from Serg, the con-artist. On June 19,2023 we purchased a 2013 Kia Optima for our son. He assured us that the car was in great condition and ha lemon from Serg, the con-artist. On June 19,2023 we purchased a 2013 Kia Optima for our son. He assured us that the car was in great condition and had just been checked out by his mechanic. We explained that it was for our son who is leaving for college, so it needed to be very reliable. The day we got it home one of the headlights started to malfunction. We immediately called Serg back to inform him and he insisted that the bulb must have come loose. And that wasn't the issue then the bulb could be replaced for a few dollars. We took it to be checked out the next day and were told that a part would need to be replaced for $189. That same day my son noticed coolant leaking from the car and had that checked out as well. It turns out the radiator needed to be replaced. He had convinced us to purchase a warranty though a company named NVP. The mechanic reached out to them to find out if it was covered. After approximately a week they said that it was not. I called Serg to let him know what had occurred and he said that they probably denied it because a claim was filed with the warranty company so soon after purchasing the car and it probably caused red flags. I asked him if he would just take the car back and initially he said no. He then made up a story about having to check with the owner. I guess he forgot that he told us that he was the owner in conversation when he was selling us the lemon. He told me that if the owner agreed it would cost us. He told me to call him back after 4 and that he would have an answer. He called me back around 1 o'clock and said that the "owner" said no. So I informed him that I wanted to cancel the warranty and receive a refund. The paperwork says that you will receive a free refund if it is cancelled within 90 days. I spoke with the warranty company and apparently they mailed the check to Serg a week ago. I have contacted the contact person that I was dealing with at his dealership to get the status and of course have not gotten a response. In the next few days if I don't get a response, or my money back further action will be taken. I will not give him $1,300 for a warranty that I can't use. There's a clause on the bill of sale that says that there is a restocking fee for returns. This clearly indicates that cars are taken back in some instances, just not in my case. The car started over heating and having other issues so the thermostat was replaced for over $500. The radiator was also replaced for over $600. When the radiator was replaced the mechanic informed me that he could not give me a warranty because the car had obviously been in an accident and it caused everything under the hood not to line up correctly. He said that inevitably at some point the radiator will crack again because of how tight it fits under the hood. As soon as the radiator was fixed my son noticed a knocking sound coming from the engine. Of course that sounds as bad as it is. More than likely the engine will need to be replaced. There is a special place in xxxx for people with no conscious like Serg. Do not trust him at any cost. Do not be fooled by all of the glowing reviews either. While you're feeling good after his con job has worked on you he asks you to write a review before you leave his office. He asks for your phone and goes to google reviews and has you write a review. I wasn't even sure what website he had gone to, I just willingly wrote a good review. Since I am a person that frequently writes reviews on my experiences with businesses I was able to narrow it down and change my review. Run away from this place as fast as you can. More

Please read my experience with this company. I bought a car from them that I asked if it ran good and shifted good and braked good and went down the road good and every button and knob and every I bought a car from them that I asked if it ran good and shifted good and braked good and went down the road good and every button and knob and everything worked as it should or is there any leaks or any problems at all They replied as everything works as it should and is a really clean car( all in emails and texts). The car showed up and the ABS light is on always- the brake light is on always- the traction control light is on always which you cant license a car in many states when dash lights are on. The heater wont blow warm or hot air, light pixels are out in the dash and some are hard to read now, front headlight is broken and illegal to drive, the rear window has duct tape that was holding the window up and the window wont work, they replaced some front bumper parts and put about half back together and now the inside wheel liners that screw to the bumper were never put back together and the wheel liners are laying against the tires, the front grill had duct tape hold them on, the rear bumper has broken pieces on it, on the inside there is a piece of trim just laying in the car that's not attached, I opened the hood and when shut it the hood vent fell off, I parked it for an hour and there is a huge oil puddle underneath, the car pulls horrible to the right when driving. This is a $10,000 car that they said everything worked. They responded as ( sorry it's not as you expected it but that kind of car would cost $35,000) You mean a car that you said everything works and it doesn't at ALL. I have not 1 response since my salesman yesterday that told me I would get a call from a boss yet that day. Now it is 5pm the next day with no response More

I filled out app , called was asked to give them time to review with bank, called back and car was sold day prior . I did Not fill in my bank acct. # or amt in acct NOT SURE if that was a factor but no 1 h review with bank, called back and car was sold day prior .
