Problem never went away. Still dealing with corporate. Bought my vehicle and had numerous issues from another dealership. That specific dealership closed down and was forced to come here. The lady that originally helped me was so kind and friendly. After 3 times of bringing my vehicle to this dealer the problem still wasn't fixed. Also the car was serviced at a previous dealer for the same or similar stuff prior about 7 times. My last visit about 1-2 months ago was horrible. Met with the owner to get out of my lease and was no help. He advised me the situation was fixed and nothing else can be done by VW which is complete B.S when I'm paying for it. The problem was never fixed and was called an absolute lier from one of the front desk reps. The Rep said his boss, the owner, said nothing else to be done. I have been dealing with corporate for these issues, sent in a corporate complaint via mail and no answer to this day. A customer advised me about this site to make this issue known. Will NEVER buy a VW again after 4 that I have had. 1.5 years still with the issues. I should have gotten a lawyer from day 1 when something broke off and hit me in the head while driving and being laughed at. If anyone would like further details feel free to try to reach out to this. Every plastic part breaking, breaks make noises and apparently it is all normal. More

Bad experience trying to get a simple fix to my car computer I have a 2013 Volkswagen Passat TDI. I had aftermarket HID headlights installed. To make a long story short, I had problems with the lights causing da I have a 2013 Volkswagen Passat TDI. I had aftermarket HID headlights installed. To make a long story short, I had problems with the lights causing dash headlight-out error messages. My local mechanic said I needed to have the Volkswagen service center change two settings in the BCM (body control module). He did not have the computer equipment to do it. It was a simple fix. So I went to World Volkswagen in Neptune NJ, and HAD THE WORST SERVICE EVER. I rate them an F--. First the guy told me to come back the next day. I said how about earlier in the morning and he said it would be better to come later, like around 11am. So I ended up coming in at 2pm. When I came back the next day, he said he couldn't look at the car because it was "too late" and it would be another week. So I left and drove to Freehold NJ Volkswagen and they took care of my issue immediately. It only took them 30 minutes. I just want to say one more time that World Volkswagen in Neptune NJ is the worst Volkswagen service center that I have ever been to. They basically refused to do a simple 30 minute fix to my car's computer system. I will NEVER go back there. I emailed Volkswagen USA directly about this. More
