This is my second time back to the VW dealership for my lease. Both times at the dealership has been a great experience from beginning to end with Nick, and the rest of the staff at VW in Neptune, NJ. Ni lease. Both times at the dealership has been a great experience from beginning to end with Nick, and the rest of the staff at VW in Neptune, NJ. Nick is a great person, professional, friendly, and a great sense of humor. I went back the second time because they want to work with you, no hassle! And, couldn't ask for a better service department to deal with as well. I will be back for a third time once my lease is up! Thank You VW Neptune, so excited about my VW Tougan! More

We were looking for a Honda Fit and found one at this dealership. I spoke with Mike on the internet sales line to ensure the car would be there when we traveled the 100+ miles to look at it. He was very dealership. I spoke with Mike on the internet sales line to ensure the car would be there when we traveled the 100+ miles to look at it. He was very nice. The car was there and in good shape and we liked it. Vinny was very nice and told us that because this is a 'Destination' dealership, they do not negotiate the prices. We were hoping to get a few hundred dollars off of the advertised price. He said the internet prices are the lowest they will go. He did ask Justin and they would not budge. We said OK. They ran the numbers for the financing and took the car to hose it off. The car was a 2012 and only had 6,000 miles on it. It didn't need much sprucing up. Dave found us some decent financing and all seemed OK. Until we reviewed the bill. There was a $821 dealer prep included into the price of the car. It was not a separate hard coded line item. It was 5% of the sale price. Then there was the $299 for window etching. These items that were included without us knowing about up front killed the deal. It was very insulting. We were also told that it is against the law for us to register the car ourselves. I don't believe this is true. So, my only advice is to ask about miscellaneous charges up front. We sat there all that time and had an unnecessary credit check. My perception of what goes on at this dealership is that when they learn that you have your heart set on a specific car, they are not going to budge on the price. When they know you are traveling many miles and hours, you are going to feel more compelled to give in and purchase. When they know you feel that you made the deal and are sitting there waiting to drive away, it is easier to sneak in extra charges and fees. This behavior was hurtful and sneaky. If they wanted an extra $1100.00 for the car, they should have added it to the sell price. You can respect that. We can only thank World VW for the lesson. We learned a lot from this experience. We still have all of our money and can now be even better shoppers. So, while I can see where people would have a good experience here with these folks, I can't say that we were overly pleased with the way we were treated. That is why I am unable to recommend them. I searched on the Internet for a pre-owned ’09 Toyota Camry Hybrid with low miles and in good condition. I found a few certified vehicles at Toyota dealerships and one that was offered through World Volk Camry Hybrid with low miles and in good condition. I found a few certified vehicles at Toyota dealerships and one that was offered through World Volkswagen in Neptune, NJ. I first contacted the World VW internet sales department by phone and got somewhat confused answers to my questions. I decided to drive two hours from my home near Philly to check out and test drive the car. When I arrived at World VW I was greeted by Bob Molloy who is a seasoned sales professional. Bob had the car ready for a test drive and allowed me to do a thorough check of the vehicle. The car and its condition was accurately described in their on-line ad. He answered my questions and concerns about the vehicle to my satisfaction. When it came time to negotiate for the car, Bob and Justin Simcox were reasonable and not pushy or overbearing. They listened to my offer and responded in a reasonable way. World VW’s requirement of a glass etch fee was the only part of the deal that was of questionable value. We eventually struck a reasonable deal that was fair for everyone. When I picked up the car, all of the paperwork was properly prepared by Dave Mitchell and the car was ready to go as promised. After receiving the official NJ vehicle title via FedEx about 1 week later, I transferred title to PA and the car passed PA inspection with flying colors. Over the years I have purchased many different new and pre-owned vehicles and have endured the high-pressure sales practices and shady deals of many dealers. I can honestly say that my dealing with the folks at World VW was completely different and was one of my best car buying experiences. These folks are straight-shooters who treat the customer with respect. I would recommend this dealership. More
After shopping a number of other dealers I went to World VW very discouraged by sleazy car salesmen tactics and was pleasantly surprised!. Unlike other dealers I was greeted in the lot by a salesman who was VW very discouraged by sleazy car salesmen tactics and was pleasantly surprised!. Unlike other dealers I was greeted in the lot by a salesman who was friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, not overbearing or pushy. After just a few questions about what features I was looking for he got me in the right car which I test drove (a Passat), talked candidly about VW and the car and truly made me want it. Back at the dealer we talked about my budget, and buying options. And the most amazing part, when I named the terms I would like on the lease, that's what they worked the numbers on, and came back with an incredibly reasonable offer. Everything about this dealer broke the mold and stereotypes of car dealers. Everyone I met with was knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. They made the car buying experience a breeze and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. And the best part about it is they believe so much in the quality and value of their cars; that was their selling point that they say they treat everyone fairly because statistically I'll be back. And based on the way I was treated, I will More
My salesman was a nice enough guy. But the whole experience wasn't nice. I was bullied by the GM and the Finance guy. When I called them on it, there was a huge 360 on their part. It was too late, though, I was very dissatisfied by the buying process. I wouldn't recommend you buy your VW there unless they give you the best price. They missed the mark on so many levels. I felt that I was doing them a favor by buying the car. Not a fan. More
Dave and Justin were more then helpful in facilitating an easy purchase at a price that worked for both me and the dealership. I shopped around and World Volkswagen truly earned my business by understanding easy purchase at a price that worked for both me and the dealership. I shopped around and World Volkswagen truly earned my business by understanding what I needed in a new car and what I felt comfortable paying for that car. I appreciate their honesty and will hopefully be back in a couple of years to lease or purchase a new vehicle from World Volkswagen. The time spent at the dealership was minimal except for waiting for finance/lease associate to sign paperwork; this was due to the high volume of purchases that night and did not reflect poorly on the staff. I was kept comfortable with anything I needed and caught up on some television and emails while I waited. Thanks for the easy experience in what can often be a frustrating endeavor More
