World VW will ignore you, disrespect you and lie to you, when it serves them. In my case, the “sale” process went like this: Oct 27th - I inquired about a certified 2010 Passat. I communicated with Kevin Ward (a great guy, who doesn’t belong at this shop) to get all the details. Then negotiated a price with Mike Papa and the GM. While in negotiation, the price of the car suddenly increased by $1,000 on the cars.com listing. Mike Papa reassures me that this is an “automatic” pricing adjustment software and of course the old price will be honored. Mike, the GM and I all agree on the terms of my purchase. The day before my flight down to get the car, Mike txt’s me - the car was sold. I am astonished, they sold the car out from under me, I didn’t even think that was possible... disgruntled me goes away wondering how these guys manage to sustain a business. Nov 3rd - I notice the car is still for sale online. I place several emails and txts to Mike Papa, all go ignored. I finally call Mike and he is informs me the car is magically available again. I reluctantly agree to purchase, again. However, Mike and the GM refuse to honor the price we agreed to. It seems the 7 days erased their memory of the agreement they made with me. I email Justin Simcox the top dog, informing him that HIS OWN “Premium Pledge” states “We promise to stand by and honor all commitments made during and after your purchase. Any price quoted that we agree to WILL NEVER BE CHANGED”. This is right under the lie they have about being – Easy – Honest – Convenient on their website. Nov 10th - Justin and Mike both impressively dodge my calls, voicemails, emails and txt’s for the next 3 days. I wonder why? Finally I speak with someone and learn the car was just sold again! Of course it sold for a higher price. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I gave them many chances to make this right, for their customer. They chose not to. World VW will ignore you, disrespect you and lie to you. They are just like every other low class dealership, but very unlike most VW shops. It is sad that they represent a brand that I love so much. Avoid World VW, or shame on you. PS - World VW’s Doc and Title fee are twice as much as the NJ average! You’ll pay an extra $500, unless they fool you into spending another $400 on window etching. More

Warranty work done right I've owned 13 VW's since 1982. On the rare occasion that a car has needed something done under warranty, this is the first dealership to A) diagnose c I've owned 13 VW's since 1982. Other dealers in the area have always seemed bothered to do the work, not this dealership. The service department is tops. More

Roy treats everyone like they are family .The day we came to the showroom there were three or four families waiting to see Roy. He is that good ...he is well worth the wait! Everyone in the showroom and service area are friendly, accommodating and attentive . They are all ready and willing to help or answer your questions. Justin is a real professional..no games gimmicks or doubletalk... I am so thankful and appreciative that there is such a reputable dealership and I am their customer! Thank you More

No Nonsense with a Smile! Back in May of 2014, my partner and I were looking to replace a car we had leased which was coming up on it's return date. We knew exactly which model Back in May of 2014, my partner and I were looking to replace a car we had leased which was coming up on it's return date. We knew exactly which model/color/options we wanted to I had called up three VW dealers asking for their best price with the terms I wanted. Out of the three, one failed to call back, one was a decent price, but the price World quoted me was really, really good. Upon arrival at the dealership, we were greeted with friendly smiles and attitudes. They were as pleased to get our custom as we were to give it. Roy Draper, our salesman was open, honest and friendly. The particular color we wanted was not in stock but Roy made sure it was delivered to the dealer in just 2 days. We picked up the car and couldn't be happier with it and our experience. More
Good Experience My wife's car blew the engine a few weeks ago and in a pinch I found a 2013 Jetta with 18,000 miles at World, they were very helpful over the phone so My wife's car blew the engine a few weeks ago and in a pinch I found a 2013 Jetta with 18,000 miles at World, they were very helpful over the phone so my wife and I made the drive down there from Trenton. Dean Desantis was very friendly as was Mark Mendez the finance director who saved us some extra money finding us better financing at the last minute. The ONLY negative thing I can say is I was surprised for a CPO car it had a pretty noticeable scrape on the back bumper that I was surprised to see in the first place as I thought they would have taken care of that before selling and when I mentioned it they said they would "check into how much it would cost to fix"......... UPDATE: 10/28/14 Had a strange noise coming from rear of the vehicle and a small steering issue so I contacted the dealership. Jason Forster had a loaner for the next day and had the issues fixed within a day, very happy with the service he and the service department (Tommy) provided! More
