I've been told my original review is too harsh so I have amended it. The salesman did call to assure me the car was sold to save me a trip and he did try to put something in my price range. For this reason 'Friendliness' is rated as good, while experience is rated as 'bad'. He was a nice guy but the timeline makes me think something was not on the up an up. Below is a timeline of events. Read it and decide for yourself. 4/16 Find a great deal on a Subaru Forester aka “Phantom“ at World Subaru. 4/17 E-mail Internet Client Care Representative,Tina Mazza, to see if the car is in stock. 4/17 2:45 PM Tina confirms the car will be ready and waiting for me at the dealership for a test drive. 4/17 5:05 PM Write back and tell her I am on my way. 4/17 6:00 Drive an hour to find the car is not at the dealership, only to find the car is on an “overnight test drive”. Salesman X, and his Manager, Mike, are apologetic. As luck would have it, there is another similar model for just a few thousand dollars more. Test drive a similar vehicle. I confirm that I like the model but the one I want is not there. Have a very pleasant conversation with Mike where I explain that I have pre-approved financing and cash on hand to put down on the vehicle. Mike leaves to check to see if the “overnight test drive” client is interested. He is not. His wife wants something newer. The Subaru “Phantom” will be back in stock tomorrow at 1:00 PM. I confirm that I am a motivated buyer. Leave last night expecting to buy the car the next day. Confirmed the vehicle will be in stock the next day for me to drive and purchase. They will notify me when it arrives. 5/17 8:32 PM E-mail Tina to say the car was not in stock as she had indicated. 5/18 11:40 AM Receive e-mail from Reginald Thompson confirming that the vehicle has arrived. His e-mail explains that I should call to speak to Salesman X that afternoon. 5/18 3:40 PM Speak to Salesman X. The car is in stock. He will put it in the back for me. I confirm that I am going their straight from work and I will be there by 7:00 PM. 5/18 5:10 PM Salesman X calls again. “Sorry, that car has been sold. My manager told me I couldn't hold it." Obviously I am more than a little annoyed. A lot changes in 90 minutes during the middle of the week, in the middle of the month, in the middle of the day at a car dealership. I was the only costumer last night between 5-6. Too bad for me. Fortunately, they do have a similar one in stock for only a thousand more than I was willing to spend. I will buy a Subaru elsewhere and spend a few thousand more to avoid these 'unfortunate' types of mishaps. More
Patrick was extremely friendly and knowledgable and made the process quick and easy. I was able to select a specific model and color and have it available within days. Our entire experience purchasing a Subaru Impreza from this dealership was excellent. Our salesman, Girsh Berman, is a professional who knows the cars and handled each phase of the purchase in an easy goi this dealership was excellent. There was no pressure from him on any aspect of the deal and I spent quite a lot of his time coming to decisions on various aspects of the financing. But neither he nor Mike the Finance manager and Mike the Sales mgr showed any impatience with us at all and that was truly appreciated. We had been to another Subaru dealership much closer to home where we spent almost three hours without getting a firm price for the car from the salesman or his manager. When we visited World we got direct answers to our questions and had no trouble arriving at a fair price. There was truly a huge difference dealing with World. More

I was looking to purchase a new Subaru and very glad that I came to World Subaru for my purchase. It was the best new car buying experience I have had in my 34 years of purchasing vehicles. I dealt with sales associate, Patrick Dougherty who made the process extremely easy and very transparent. Patrick gave me the best deal on my New Subaru Crosstrek and also made it extremely easy to trade in my two cars and especially my Versa which I owed more on than the car was actually worth. Patrick was able to package the deal so that I was saving money in the long run and gave me a better interest rate than I originally had. It was extremely easy to deal with Patrick who is considerate and extremely competant and made this a very smoothe transaction. I highly recommend Patrick and World Subaru if you are in the market for a new car and an excellent buying experience!! More
In the passed Year and a half I have purchased two cars from this dealership. First one was used and the second new. First off I want to start by saying how GREAT this dealership is to work with. Mike Fein my salesman was a pleasure and was very knowledgeable of the Subaru product.
