Gus aka Justin from the sales team was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and overall a stand up guy. I have never had a more enjoyable car buying experience. He provided in-depth details on each c attentive, knowledgeable, and overall a stand up guy. I have never had a more enjoyable car buying experience. He provided in-depth details on each car I test drove. A skill only a true experienced salesman would know. His knowledge on the inner workings of all cars on the lot (Jeep or not) was more than impressive. Accompanied by his fearless leader Shane, made for a dynamic duo. Kristen made sure that I was well informed and well protected with the warranty for my car. She made my financial experience seamless and pain free. You can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be buying my next vehicle from this team. More
I will NEVER be returning to World CDJR. Last year I had an amazing experience with the sales team, however the quality of customer service does not transfer over to the service department. Last year I had an amazing experience with the sales team, however the quality of customer service does not transfer over to the service department. A local mechanic performing an oil change said there was a strange noise coming from my serpentine belt. The car only has 8,000 miles on it so this was concerning especially since I was taking the car on a long road trip the next day with a newborn baby. This was on a Thursday, their soonest appointment was the following Wednesday however due to having to utilize the car on this trip I made the Wednesday appointment but drove it over to the service center that day. I walked in and explained the situation to a service team member and stated I didn’t need the car fixed necessarily but just looked at to know if it was gonna be safe to drive to North Carolina the next day and I would return the following Wednesday for my appointment to have the problem addressed. I was told they were busy but would take a look and instructed to wait in the waiting area. Totally understandable as I did not have an appointment. For the next 2 hours I watched as the service meme er who had helped me when I walked in sit at his desk and scroll on his phone and occasionally looking up at his computer screen before quickly returning to his cell phone. Just shy of the two hour mark I was on the phone with my wife explaining the situation when another member of the service team overheard me. This service member left the room and retuned a short time later and asked me to step out of the room. He asked if my car was in service and I explained to him the situation. At this time the original employee looked up from his cellphone and said “ooo yea he has a ticking, I’ll go look at it” so after 2 hours of nonsense the original employee came out front with me I popped my hood and he stated “the mechanic doesn’t know what direct injectors sound like this cars fine”. This took all of 15 seconds. Thankfully the second employee overheard my conversation or who knows when I would’ve been helped. I did not expect to be seen right away however I was blatantly forgotten about. If the original employee had done anything other then stare at his cellphone there’s a better chance he would’ve actually remembered I even walked in. And the worst part was his “all clear” took no more the 20 seconds! If that’s really all he had to do then making me wait for 2 hours feels more intentional and like a “screw this guy make him wait” rather then the “I forgot” that I actually got. I would rather pay out of pocket for my brand new car at a REAL mechanic then be disrespected by arrogant people like this. More
I must say that I was quite disappointed with my experience after reading what seemed like many positive reviews online. I travelled out to NJ to check out what seemed to be a good deal on Nissan experience after reading what seemed like many positive reviews online. I travelled out to NJ to check out what seemed to be a good deal on Nissan Pathfinder (listed as 2013, 136,000 miles). Before travelling out there I had inquired with a representative over the phone about getting the car checked out by a mechanic and the rep said while I could get it checked out, it wasn’t necessary because of their 20 something point check which assures the car is great and all. Arriving at the lot, I was quite surprised to find multiple door handles broken - no way to open the car door from inside the car - something not mentioned in the listing. (Also noticed the mileage was a few thousand miles different than what was listed at 139K - though agent assured me that it is typical. I’m not sure either way) I had traveled a distance to get there so I looked past that for the moment. I asked the dealership if they could fix before purchase but they said maybe they could in a few days - but that there was no guarantee and would depend on the cost. There was also a low hum in the AC but they couldn't give me any further info. I was desperate and against my better judgement I went for the car. I ended up having to take it to the mechanic a few weeks after purchase when the engine light turned on. Apparently the catalytic converter was shot. In total I spent $250 to replace the door handles, $1500 for the catalytic converter and $500 for the AC blower all within the first month of ownership. I understand that a used vehicle will always have issues and there’s no predicting the life of such a vehicle, or what issues might crop up, but these were not hidden issues but rather visible or possibly even obscured to help close a sale. I recently traded in a vehicle and purchased a used Dodge Durango from World. My experience was exceptional, and I couldn’t be happier with the transaction. Everything was very transparent, handled quickly a Durango from World. My experience was exceptional, and I couldn’t be happier with the transaction. Everything was very transparent, handled quickly and accurately, and Phil was a pleasure to work with throughout the sales process. After the sale, Cheryl did a top-notch job of explaining the features and functions of my new ride. With an experience like this, I know that when I need a car in the future, I will make World my first stop. More
