Good news area dealerships - World Jeep set the bar low Purchase a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit and expect the following: 1. Test drive and purchase with 21k miles and have it delivered two weeks late Purchase a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit and expect the following: 1. Test drive and purchase with 21k miles and have it delivered two weeks later with 24k miles and be told that employees drive vehicles to make sure nothing is wrong with the vehicle. Note the 3k miles worth of test driving undetected failures listed below along with the heavy sarcasm in this statement regarding the explanation I received. 2. Only receive one key fob. Seriously? 3. Have no floor mats in the vehicle, complain and be told over the phone they would purchase WeatherTech mats to remedy, but actually pull used worn mats out of a different vehicle on the lot 4. Sun Roof didn’t work at all 5. Screen for sunroof didn’t work properly 6. Audio for CDs / DVDs didn’t work 7. 1 of 2 DVD screens dead 8. Flashlight that is equipped in truck not there 9. Be assured stains on leather seats will be cleaned and not have them cleaned at all (twice) 10. Pay for security etching which wasn’t pointed out until I called it out. Be told that you get a discount on your insurance. State you have X company and be told “they definitely give a discount” when come to find out they don’t 11. Have a tire with a slow leak 12. Pulls to the left at highway speed (unrelated to tire leak) 13. Trim peeling back from wheel well “fixed” with double sided 3m tape that is clearly visible and more so by the day because it is not holding 14. Told that front license plate bracket would be removed and wasn’t 15. Told dealership badge on tailgate would be removed and wasn’t 16. Have cigarette ashes along the driver side windows upon delivery when told that this was a non-smokers vehicle and no ashes or smell of smoke present when test driven 17. Have your registration take 2 months. Why so long? I’m told that there was a problem with the title that needed to be addressed first and “if you get a ticket we will pay for it” since temps expired after 1 month 18. Have 3/4ths of the above issues resolved over the course of a month, but be told that “At the end of the day this is a used vehicle. If we were going to fix everything that is wrong then we would essentially be selling a new vehicle and the price would have been a lot higher” Though I appreciate that there was some level of effort to make things right, almost all of these issues shouldn’t have been issues in the first place upon delivery of the vehicle. Certainly not after they picked it back up to address my above issues and then redelivered it. Actions didn’t come close to the promises that were made. During the sales pitch you are told how there is a 120 something point check that the vehicles go through for their pre-owned certification. Well might I suggest that you increase that checklist to about 140. The entire experience has been pretty terrible. Buying a one year old high end vehicle shouldn’t be a crapshoot. Corners were cut, upcharges slipped into the sale with false statements backing them up, and promises to address identified issues remaining unfulfilled were unfortunately all part of my buying experience. It feels like every opportunity was taken to attempt to pull the wool over my eyes and slip things by that I wouldn’t either notice or care enough to follow-up with. Speaking of which, though I was told probably a dozen times that things would be looked into and I would be contacted "shortly", those calls never came and I would have to follow-up myself. Maybe my expectations are unreasonable who knows. After all, as pointed out to me I did just purchase a used vehicle. More

The staff at World was the most knowledgeable and when we looked at the numbers they were the best deal by more than $4800 over three years. Either World is giving away trucks or every other dealer is trying to win the lottery with a single sale.
