Bait and Switch Bait and switch. That's the best way to describe this place. Brought our Nissan in to have them clear the error codes on the dash display. A Nissan Bait and switch. That's the best way to describe this place. Brought our Nissan in to have them clear the error codes on the dash display. A Nissan problem caused by the configuration of the computer in the vehicle. The dealership is the only place you can have this done. They literally plug into your car's computer using the existing plug, hit a button on their machine, and the screen is cleared. They told us as much and said it shouldn't cost anything. We gave them the keys and they did what they said they were going to do in a couple of minutes and came back in and told us we just need to pay $130. We were told it wouldn't cost anything. Oh, they said, we had to take a look at the vehicle to make sure their wasn't anything wrong with it. We said, we provided you with the report that said there wasn't anything wrong with the vehicle and all we needed was to have the dash display errors cleared. Oh well that's not how we do things. It's $130. We had no choice but to pay so we could get the car back. Then, they send us a survey email asking how our experience was, so we called and talked to Roy Carr. We explained to him what happened and even said we'd understand if we were told it was going to cost something. Here's how the conversation went: Roy: "You should have asked how much it would cost." Us: "We did. We were told it wouldn't cost anything." Roy: "I don't believe that. We would never say that. We work on 125 cars per day. Do you really think we'd do work for free? How are we supposed to keep the lights on here?" We ended the call at that point. If you have to come to a dealership to have your car worked on, avoid this one. More
Worst service experience ever I did not buy my car at Woodfield Nissan as the internet sales rep lied on the phone about everything. But I thought the service dept would be ok, but I did not buy my car at Woodfield Nissan as the internet sales rep lied on the phone about everything. But I thought the service dept would be ok, but I was wrong. A $100, two hour repair turned into a one month and $2000 fiasco. The technicians are incompetent and throw parts at the problem until something finally fixes it. They lie about everything and when you call they never answer, but will take a message and never call back. I have never been treated so badly as a customer, all the way from the Service Advisor Mike, to the Service Manager Marcel, to the Operations Director Roy. I never write reviews but this was so bad, I just had to write this one. More
Horrible Experience! Stay Away! I went to Woodfield Nissan for an oil change for the second time, in part because I had an excellent experience the first time. This time around, it w I went to Woodfield Nissan for an oil change for the second time, in part because I had an excellent experience the first time. This time around, it was an entirely different story. I called ahead to see if they could get me in for an oil change and was told to bring my car in. I took it in and was greeted by the service writer, who i think was named Dave. I explained that I was just there for an oil change, I told him to call me when it was done, thinking it would maybe take an hour or 90 minutes, if it was going to take a long time he should of said something there. If it was not going to be seen til after his lunch break, I should of been notified. After 2 hours of not hearing from anyone, I went in, I mean its only an oil change, it shouldn't take longer then 20 minutes or so, even with the quick inspection. After getting into the service area I wasn't greeted or acknowledged for five minutes. I couldn't find my service writer and went to a different service writers desk. After I explained to her about why I was there she started looking up my information when "Dave" came out from the actual service area. I asked him about my car and he said they just started working on it. I asked why its been over 2 hours and they just got too it, his response was that he was out to lunch. Not a mechanic but my service writer. What does my service writer have to do with my car getting worked on? He's not doing the oil change. After waiting about 30 more minutes, in which time I walked around your showroom but was never acknowledged, Dave told me my car was done and explained to me what their inspection found. He told me that both my brake fluid and radiator fluid were bad and needed to be changed. Also, he notified me that I needed an alignment. I didn't say anything but they were both flushed and filled recently, brake fluid in June and Radiator fluid and Alignment were done in July. I do not know how they test these but its pure crap. It was a blatant lie to my face just to get money from me. I feel bad for people that do not know better and fall for their scams. While I was paying they washed my car for me but obviously pay much attention. They didn't somehow realize that the master switch for my rear windows is bad, some inspection, and washed my car with my windows noticeably down, it was more than just a crack. Because of this incompetence, I had water on my work folders, on the floor and seats, on the seat belts and worst of all on my dry cleaning that was hanging in my back seat. When I went back to complain "Dave" apologized and the car wash guys placed the blame on the incompetent service writer or service technician. He ended up giving me a free hand wax and even got some sap that was on my car off right away. I was happy with the way they took care of the water issue but the entire process took FOUR HOURS!!! An oil change should never take FOUR HOURS. Needless to say I will never be going to this dealership again. The lies and deceitful actions are deplorable. I will be sticking with my normal dealership, Gerald Nissan of Naperville, for all of my services and car purchases from now on. More

My previous visit I delt with Jessica and it was an horrible experience she was do rude and just had a negative vibe. Also when I went in there recently I was notified she took my email out of the system so I couldn't do surveys/reviews!! I was so irritated by her.. But glad I came back and delt with Jose!! More

Damaged My Car I took my car in for services and after waiting a long time for them to remove a heat shield i get my car back and my hood had been scratched. I told I took my car in for services and after waiting a long time for them to remove a heat shield i get my car back and my hood had been scratched. I told them my hood was brand new (from a previous accident) and that there was no scratches on it before i gave it to them for service. They said there was nothing they could do and that it wasn't their fault. The lack of professionalism by their staff is very disappointing. They think it's OK to have a scratched up hood because my side panel has a scratch on it as well and they had wrote that down. The sheet i signed never, NEVER said the hood had damage. They also tried telling me the service tech talked to me about the damage on my hood before hand which is not true. This is my first time that i came to this dealership and i strongly advise against it if they are unable to fix this situation. I'll gladly update this post when and if they do! More

Chris was very helpful & couteous, estimating it would take approx. 45 minutes to inspect the car & do the work., but he was wrong. It only took 30 minutes and I couldn't finish up some work I was trying to get done in the waiting area. Not complaining, of course. He encouraged me to have some bottled water and had my car washed. Very impressive job with excellent service. More
I needed help my battery failed My Insurance company and their towing company were a joke--after 5 calls between both still no service!!!! One call JUST ONE CALL to Woodfield Nissan My Insurance company and their towing company were a joke--after 5 calls between both still no service!!!! One call JUST ONE CALL to Woodfield Nissan and a short conversation with Jose Rodriguez, he had assistance at my location, my vehicle (jump started) and I was able to drive to Woodfield Nissan for repairs. I spent over an hour trying to get assistance from my so called friend in need insurance company and nothing!?! This is the third vehicle I've purchased from Woodfield Nissan and the biggest reason has always been their Service Department---ALWAYS THEIR when I've needed them!!! You deal with the Sales Personnel for a short time frame BUT the Service Department is where it all matters over the long run, it's what you remember over the years. More
