I was taken care of immediately, despite having no appointment, as i had a flat which another place told me was irreparable due to nail embedded too close to the side wall, and they had no matching ti appointment, as i had a flat which another place told me was irreparable due to nail embedded too close to the side wall, and they had no matching tire to sell. The other place quoted a price if they had to order the replacement tire, which Lexus beat by about $30, and which they did have in stock as I called Lexus while on the road riding on the spare. I was told the wait time was about 35 minutes and offered refreshments in the waiting area. I paid and was out the door in about 40 minutes. I have been in other Lexus waiting rooms and this one was larger and better lit and gave a more comfortable feeling. More

He is a kind, considerate and knowledgeable man who goes the "extra mile" for any needs you may have. The service representative who helped me out when I came in for service was incredibly rude and kept implying I hadn't made an appointment. He still had this look of disdain and disbelief when I showed him the confirmation e-mail and ended up not completing everything I had originally scheduled to be done. While the service on the car was acceptable, the lack of customer service and general civility at the beginning really soured my trip to woodfield lexus. It was a shockingly disappointing service visit as I had previously had excellent interactions with the other employees when purchasing my car. This one experience has really put me off ever wanting to go back to service my car there. More
The Service Department Advisor (Keith Uilberg) and Service Manager (Don O'Connor) have alot to learn about customer service. I had purchased an 84 month warrantied battery for my Lexus SC430. When i Service Manager (Don O'Connor) have alot to learn about customer service. I had purchased an 84 month warrantied battery for my Lexus SC430. When it failed after 3 years, I brought it in to Woodfield Lexus where they proceeded to tell me that they were going to charge me $45 for the service department to take my battery out and put the new one in. When I told them that all they need to do is test it and I could take it out, they told me that they would have to charge me $45 to test it as well. Seems like they don't want to stand behind their products and just want to get a service charge. This service charge doesn't even include the prorated cost of the battery. When I told the Service Advisor I wasn't happy, he immediately offered for me to talk to the Service Manager. I waited 15 minutes to talk to him. When I did, he didn't bother to get out of his chair and greet me. I had to extend my hand and introduce myself. They proceeded to blame the battery defect on my trickle charger not giving it a strong enought charge or that my alternator was bad. When I asked them to simply check the battery, the Service Manager said he was required by law to check my alternator. I have never heard of such a thing. His attitude along with the Service Advisor's was poor at best. I was so entirely frustrated with their demeanor and attitude. I was shocked by the total lack of customer service exhibited by the Service Department. On a much better note, I would like to commend the Parts Department (Dan and Butch) who were very accomodating and tested my battery for free. The battery was bad and they replaced it. I of course paid my prorata share which I was fine with. Justin also was great when he saw me in the parking lot and asked if he could help carry the battery in for me into the parts department. I would gladly go to the parts department again but I will never set foot in the Service Department again. I am in a service industry myself and was shocked at the lack of customer service and unprofessional attitude displayed by Keith and Don. More
