After they looked at it they needed to order shift boot and pillar (said 2-3 days for parts). Service calls me in 2 days saying parts are in… bring it in that same Friday to hear that they still didn’t have the parts, so I had to leave and reschedule. 2 weeks later they call with parts are in now.. that Friday go back for install at 830am… to my surprise it’s the next day and still no car!! Absolutely the worst service department I have ever been to. I am not here to fix their problems, the owners or Ford should visit the service dept to see the mess. Just want to warn other potential customer to. I am not here to fix their problems, the owners or Ford should visit the service dept to see the mess. Just want to warn other potential customers. More

Biggest rip off artist around. Cost me a small fortune for them just to turn off the engine light. They never fixed the problem, kept the car for a few days and did absolutely nothing to the car. The worst service group I ever experienced. I love FOrd Brand, but the service experience makes me think twice. The next purchase will definitely not from Ford. Brand, but the service experience makes me think twice. The next purchase will definitely not from Ford. More
Our Family has had leased fords for over 25 years. About 10 vehicles in total. Unfortunately, our current Fords will be our last and Bell Ford is to blame. On March 2019 we had a check engine light and 10 vehicles in total. Unfortunately, our current Fords will be our last and Bell Ford is to blame. On March 2019 we had a check engine light and the whole truck was shaky and underivable. We called Ford roadside assistance and they dispatched a tow truck That brought us to Bell Ford. This wasn’t our first time here; we’ve done oil changes in the past with them. After detailing the issues to the service manager, we requested a loaner. They told us they have no loaners available and since we got our ford at another dealership, we wouldn’t get loaner priority. A few days later we contacted Ford corporate and they told us we can rent a car and would be reimbursed $35 a day for a Ford rental. Bell didn’t bother telling us this and when we mentioned the rental they said “sure you can do that”. The reimbursement check came from Bell so I assume they didn’t tell us because they didn’t want to pay for a loaner. The check engine light was due to a misfire in cylinder 4. After 1 week, Bell said their mechanic wanted to check it again the next day because something didn’t seem correct. 2 days later they told us the truck was ready. They ultimately changed plugs and coils. They told me to use better gas even though we use premium brands like BP and Shell. Nevertheless, we marked this up as an issue with faulty fuel. On September 19th, 2 days before our road trip to upstate NY, the check engine light returned. When taking the truck back to Bell, they asked if we had an appointment. We didn’t as this issue appeared overnight. Bell said with no appointment they couldn’t take us until the 1st or 2nd week of October. That’s nearly 2 to 3 weeks! My wife told them it’s seems to be the same issue as before and she doesn’t feel safe. She also told them about our upcoming 300 mile road trip. They took the truck in. The issues was cylinder 4 again. They fixed it the same day by changing a coil. The service manager told me to make sure I get good oil as this may have caused the problem. I’m not a mechanic but I don’t know what changing a coil has to do with oil. Furthermore, most of my changes were done at Ford and while others using quality synthetics of the correct weight. 2 days later we drove the truck 300 miles upstate. The truck ran fine until we turned the truck on again that night. Check engine light yet again. So we turned the truck off. Being a Saturday night we had to wait until Monday to take it to Friendly Ford (our heroes) in Geneva, NY. Friendly Ford took the truck in immediately. Within 1 day they were able to determine that there were multiple cracks in my cylinder wall and that the truck was leaking coolant. The shop Forman also bore scoped my cylinder and allowed me to take pictures of the leak he saw. They told us that this is a known problem and a service bulletin was put out with exact steps for checking and fixing the issue. They even gave me a photo copy of the bulletin and the steps are as clear as day. Ultimately, my truck needed the ENTIRE engine replaced. Friendly took care of all of this, loaned me a beautiful Ranger Lariat, let me drive it back to NJ and once my truck was fixed, sent someone to drive it back to me and pick up the loaner. Bell Ford’s negligence was egregious and they put my family in danger. God forbid my engine went and we lost power mid-trip, I could have been in a life-threatening accident with the big rigs that surrounded us on the highways. Bell knew there was a bulletin because, again, this is a common code and a common issue for Ford and Lincoln. Yet, they had no qualms about putting my family at risk. It is my belief that they didn’t want to do the work and instead did the bare minimum to get my truck moving. Their actions are disgraceful and unprofessional. I would recommend finding a reputable dealership because Bell Ford has very low standards for their version of excellence. More
