I brought in my car for a power steering fluid flush. When the technician found additional items on the car needing service, Patrick carefully explained each one. Although the bill wound up higher that day than originally planned, Patrick's careful explanation of the services made me feel better and gave me confidence that Woburn Toyota was looking out for me. Patrick also gave me a free car rental for the day (a new 2012 Camry) which was much appreciated. I have been going to various car dealerships in Massachusetts over the last 33 years, and I can say with certainty that Woburn Toyota is the best by far. In addition to their great service in the shop, they have extended car pickup hours and let you make appointments over the web. They are always trying to up their game in serving the customer! My family has been dealing with Woburn Toyota for years and I am unfortunately forced now to wonder just how long we've been getting ripped off. I had my car looked at because of a squeezing in the brakes. and I am unfortunately forced now to wonder just how long we've been getting ripped off. I had my car looked at because of a squeezing in the brakes. They told me it was the brake booster and that it would cost approximately $1000 for the part before labor (my warranty ended just months prior, of course.) Shocked by this price, I decided it would probably be best to get a second opinion. I looked online and surprisingly found the part, brand new with a 2 yr warranty, for just $100. It took about 30 to minutes to fix. I am appalled that because I am a young woman who went in with my elderly grandfather they obviously thought they could take advantage of us. Or do they overcharge ALL of their customers by at least $900? I wonder. I am not writing this review to bash Woburn Toyota but to warn anyone who reads this to get a second opinion and do their research before doing business with them. More
There was a 1-2 hour wait when I arrived. I was greeted by John and immediately felt welcomed. He was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. He arranged for a shuttle to bring me to another location in Wo by John and immediately felt welcomed. He was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. He arranged for a shuttle to bring me to another location in Woburn to run some errands while I waited. The shuttle driver was also extremely nice (I cannot remember his name). I went out this morning to get new tires for my Toyota Rav4 which I had purchased from Woburn Toyota three years ago. I first went to BJ's and then Town Faire Tire both located in Woburn thinking that I w Rav4 which I had purchased from Woburn Toyota three years ago. I first went to BJ's and then Town Faire Tire both located in Woburn thinking that I would get a better price at one of these than I would at the dealership. BJ's gave me a price but I was very unimpressed with the individual I dealt with who did not seem to know the product he was selling. I was quoted a price of $915.00 to have 4 Michelin tires mounted and balanced. I then went to Town Faire Tire and left the showroom after waiting for nearly a half hour to speak with a salesman without any luck. My third and final stop was Woburn Toyota where I spoke with John Russo. John knew all about the RAV 4 that I was driving and showed me three different tire options explaining his thoughts on all three. In the end I purchased the same Michelin tires for a total price of $872.15 after using a coupon I had with me. The Woburn Toyota price also included a free 4 wheel alignment with the purchase of a set of 4 tires, BJ's did not. Woburn Toyota also performed a quality vehicle inspection including my brakes at no charge. In the end I feel I got the same tires at a better price with far superior service. The work was completed ahead of the time I asked to have the vehicle back and John called my home as soon as they were done to let me know I could come and get it. I was very pleased with the whole experience mainly due to John Russo. More
