My wife and I have been going to wisslers because it is close to our house and we have heard great things about them. We recently took my wife's car in for an inspection, oil change and tire rotation. We were not aware of any problems with her car but when they did the inspection they said that it failed for the left and right front lower control arms having excessive play. They also recommended an alignment for the car pulling to the right. We were not thrilled about spending a total of $668 for everything but we gave them the ok because it needed to be done to pass inspection and I didn't want the car pulling to the right. They also recommended replacing the tires but they did pass inspection so we passed on that because we could get another year out of them before our next inspection. We went to pick up the car that night and while driving it home heard a very loud grinding/screeching noise from the left front tire. We immediately took it back and dropped it off for them to look at the next day. The next day we got a call saying they heard the noise and it was due to the tires being in such bad shape. I didn't believe that tires could make that sound but they assured me that that was the problem. I gave them the go ahead to replace the tires for an additional $461 only because they said it would fix the noise and I did not feel like my wife was safe driving the car with that sound. They replaced the tires the next day. When we picked up the car and drove it home it still made the sound. We immediately returned it to them and said that the tires did not fix the problem. The next day they called and said that they found the problem and it was a plate that was rubbing against a wheel I believe. I asked if they could put the old tires back on because that was obviously not the problem and they said that the tires had already been picked up and recycled. At that point I asked for our money back for the tires because it was a misdiagnosis by them. The service representative talked to the owner and called me back and said that the best they could do was to give us a 10% credit (about $45) towards a future service. I asked if I could speak with the owner and after being on hold I was told that they already talked to him and I could not. This obviously did not sit well with me and I didn't want the credit towards a future service because at that point I was never planning to use them again. The lady also told me that they now somehow found the tires and I could have the tires back but they would not reinstall them and give me my money back for the new ones because I gave them the approval to do the work, even though the only reason I gave the approval was because I was told that would fix the problem. I did not want the old tires back because I can't install them myself and that would only save them money to not have to pay someone to recycle them for them. Frustrated, I went back and picked up the car only to find out that the sound was not fixed. We returned it again. A few days later they said that 3 people drove the car and none of them heard the sound. We went back, picked up the car and have had it for a day now with no grinding/ screeching sound. They must have done something to make the sound go away but they did not tell us what. Ultimately I feel like wisslers is very dishonest and I feel like they should have put our old tires back on and given us our $461 back because the only reason we put new tires on was because of a misdiagnosis by them. We will not be going back to wisslers and I hope that anyone who reads this will agree with me and not give them a chance to take advantage of more people. The only thing that they did that was nice was after the second time that we took the car back they gave us a free loaner car. This was a nice gesture but still does not make up for their dishonesty and charging us for something that did not need done. More
Headlamp Issues I had just bought a vehicle from the Dealer Ship. Great SUV! Everything was good with the vehicle i took it home and went out for the evening the first night i had the vehicle and noticed the headlights were not shining where they should have been. I contacted Yuri and he asked me if i could get it in first thing Monday Morning (July 31rst), i did just that got to the dealership around 9:00 am they got the SUV in promptly and corrected the issue. Yuri and the staff have been excellent to work with!!! I would recommend them to everyone!! More

Find another garage to do you work Took my vehicle to them because it had shut off during driving. Wissler did their so called diagnositic check, but wasn't able to find the problem. Took vehicle to Ford thinking "this is going to be expensive", but it turned out to be a blown fuse. Contacted Wissler to contest the charges to receive a full refund, but they will not refund anything. Reason: Wissler completed a diagnostic check to the best of their ability and deemed the problem couldn't be fixed at their facility. All, I would be worried if I were you. If Wissler can't even fix a simple fuse... what kind of service are you all getting. If you don't heed this warning, best of luck. More

Mother Nature makes life stressful sometimes!!! Black Ice brought my Ram 1500 and Wissler Motors together. From the first phone call with Ted Morelock in collision, I felt at ease that this was the Black Ice brought my Ram 1500 and Wissler Motors together. From the first phone call with Ted Morelock in collision, I felt at ease that this was the place to get my truck repaired. Met with him, took pictures of the issues and he took care of my insurance situations plus got a call for a local rental car that I picked up at Wisslers. No need to run all over creation and make more stress from a stressful situation. With all the questions Ted could get in a days time from everyone, he was patient with me and answered everything. They had my truck for 9 days and when I went to pick it up, it was beautiful again. Dropped the rental car there and he took care of contacting the rental company. All my fears were put to rest at Wisslers, thanks to Ted and his staff of great collision repair technicians. The hot chocolate was great too!!! Lloyd Glazer, York, PA More

I hadn't used Wissler for service in a couple of years for no particular reason, then recently, my minivan broke down and my husband suggested towing I hadn't used Wissler for service in a couple of years for no particular reason, then recently, my minivan broke down and my husband suggested towing the car over to Wissler as opposed to our dealer. What a great decision that turned out to be! Not only was Hans friendly, sympathetic and kind (and it was an hour before closing!), but he assured me that they could take care of seeing what my car might need and they had a loaner car which I was allowed to use in the meantime. My minivan was fixed by the end of the very next day --- at a price much less than our dealer would have charged -- plus we had the use of the loaner vehicle which was a big help with the kids and both of our jobs.. etc.. Hans could not have been more polite and professional. I highly recommend Wissler and Hans Seidel for any of your car service needs and I'll definitely be a returning customer!! :) More
