I had a question about the maintenance package and it was clearly explained that. If I bought the car for 10k (ex.)the buyers order will break the cost out but the price stays the same. Winners circle Chevy treated me very well when I bought my car. From the sale person Julian to the finance guy Eric . They were very informative and at no point did he not explain what I was signing and my car. From the sale person Julian to the finance guy Eric . Eric even gave me cheat codes to pay quicker and advised me on how to improve my credit situation. Winnerscircle is good in my book. More
Horrendous. Eric, the finance manger, will do anything he can to increase your costs. Let me preface this review by saying that if I could rate this place a negative amount of stars I would. It is HANDS DOWN NOT ONLY THE WORST DEALERSHIP, BUT WORST BUSINESS OVER ALL THAT I HAVE DEALT WITH. It this place a negative amount of stars I would. It is HANDS DOWN NOT ONLY THE WORST DEALERSHIP, BUT WORST BUSINESS OVER ALL THAT I HAVE DEALT WITH. It's a long read but in short, The sales staff are shady. They sold me an undeliverable truck. Told me they'd fix it. Now they're holding it hostage. Buying experience: I found the '15 Silverado on Cargurus and tried getting a pre-approval online before hand. Thus prompted countless calls texts and emails from the dealership to come look at it, so I made an appointment with "Jamar" to look at it Thurday 05/25, on my only day off. I arrived and Jamar wasn't even there. I was immediately bombarded by 5 or 6 salespeople that kept handing me off trying to cut each other's throats and acted very unprofessional. Financing: I went in prepared to pay the listing price so I suppose that was alright. I asked if there was any room for negotiation and he asked to see the listing on the site I found it and when I pulled that up, they had hiked the price $1200 before I got there (see the attached photos) and the salesman was kind enough to show me a printed sheet where he had built a truck with a bunch of options that this one didn't have, to show how "aggressively priced" it was. The Truck: I ended up buying the truck despite all this and drove it home that night. I noticed it had a hot oil smell when I got out but figured they had probably just spilled some when they serviced it. I drove it from Emporia, VA to Walmart in Roanoke Rapids, NC the Saturday 05/27. My coworker pointed out that it was dripping so we checked the oil and found it was almost 3qt low and topped it off. I parked the truck for the rest of the weekend and called first thing on Monday 05/29 to make an appointment to get it looked at locally at Boyd Chevy in Emporia, figuring the filter was loose or something. The soonest they could get it in was 06/05 so I made the appointment. They diagnosed it as the "Vally Lifter Oil Manifold" leaking and quoted me $1300 for repairs but the part was on backorder so I told them to go ahead and get one coming. Repairs: Jamar called me the same day *06/05) to see if I was still satisfied with the truck so I calmly explained the situation and he said he "would talk to the service manager about making things right and call me first thing the next to schedule it in". 4:30 the next day 06/06 rolled around and no call. So I called Jamar who told me the service manager was supposed to have called me to schedule it and he would go talk to him and once again "Call you first thing tomorrow morning. If you don't hear from me by 10am, give me a call." I called Thursday after not receiving a call for the third time and got passed over to service so I made an appointment for Tuesday 06/13 and dropped it off that Saturday in case they would be able to get to it early. By this point I've added 10qts of oil to it in the short time I've owned it and paid a $137 diag bill at another dealer. Fast forward to the end of the day Friday 06/16 so it had been 4 days since my appointment and I still hadn't heard anything so I spoke to Dave in service who essentially told me they'd been too busy to look at it but would talk to his tech and call me back "in a couple minutes with an update". That call never came. Saturday 06/17 I decided to call Jamar and make sure that they weren't going to stick me with a massive repair bill. First call he was "with a customer and would call back if I left my name and number" Second call 4 hours later, same answer. Third call, I was told Jamar was gone and I needed to speak to service who wasn't in for the day. That brings us to today. 30k worth of fresh debt, no truck, no idea what's going on with the truck, and no one answering my calls to tell me anything. It's been more than weeks since I bought it and I was able to take it to work twice and Walmart once. DO NOT BUY FROM WINNER'S CIRCLE More
Like just about every GM dealer right now, Franklin engages in fraud. Bait and switching, price changing, and false-promising, just to name a few. Car dealers have always been inconvenient (and unnec engages in fraud. Bait and switching, price changing, and false-promising, just to name a few. Car dealers have always been inconvenient (and unnecessary) to deal with, but it is truly a shame that it's easier and cheaper to buy a barely used model off of Carvana than it is to buy new from GM. Examples? There is no such thing as a "contactless" car buying experience. When you inquire about this, they tell you that you still have to come in to the dealership for some reason. Then, when you go there, they tell you that they "no longer have the car you asked about and should consider this other crappy one instead (for more money, of course). Or that you should put a large non-refundable deposit down for some "in-transit" model that never seems to arrive. The idea of "buying online" simply doesn't exist. If they don't have the car, they'll still advertise that they do in hopes that, by making you wait in the dealership for hours, you'll soften up and commit to buying something you don't want. It is unreal that the resurgence of illegal sales practices hasn't led to these dealerships being shut down and GM selling direct to its customers. I've ordered a Tesla, and 60% of the reason for doing so is because I don't have to deal with a dealership experience. I just ordered it online and then when it arrives I just go and pick it up. No BS about how it was there but now it isn't. Or that I need to buy some warranty to get the car now. Or that I need to pay a "market adjustment" fee that no one mentioned when I ordered it. Or that it's going to take hours and hours to sign 5 minutes of paperwork because "finance is busy", which is just code for "we think if we waste your life and lie to you incessantly, you'll sign anything to leave with a car." GM needs to have their own dealerships and showrooms that actually care about GM's name and reputation because I can't be alone in preferring to have Carvana deliver a slightly used car to my house than to deal with the nonsense that Franklin and pretty much every other GM dealer dishes out in hopes of ripping off people who think they have no alternative. In short, I'd rather ride a bicycle for the next three months waiting on my Tesla to arrive than to spend one more minute in Franklin's (or anyone other GM dealer's) showroom. More
