Winner Ford of Cherry Hill responded

Mr. & Mrs. Mantino purchased a 2004 F250, 149,723 miles. The truck was purchased with a 30 day or 1000 mile engine-rear- transmission Limited Warranty. Winner Ford reconditioning cost was in excess of $2,200.00 on the truck prior to sale. The vehicle was returned for warranty concerns. None of the concerns were covered by the Power Train Limited Warranty. I contacted Mr. Mantino and apoligized with regard to his concerns and poor communications on Winner's part. Winner offered to replace the drive shaft center support bearing at no cost to the Customer. I offered twelve months zero interest payment terms on the addtional repairs. The Mantinos repair was completed on 3-14-2016. I spoke to Mr. Mantino after the repair was complete and told him please should you need further assistance contact me. D. Slipp VP/GM

Winner Ford of Cherry Hill responded

Mr. & Mrs. Kahn purdhase a 2007 Jeep "AS IS". The vehcile was not represented with any warranty or implied warranty. Mr. Kahn signed three seperate documents, as required by New Jersey Motor Vehicle Law, clearly stating there was no warranty. However when I spoke to him he explained the vehicle had a starter problem. I asked him for a copy of the bill for a replacment starter and refunded the cost. They drove from Nazareth, Pennsylvania to purchase the Jeep because of the very competitive price. The vehicle was check for brakes, frame and known and/or obivious mechanical issues. Winner determined to sell vehicle "AS IS" since the Jeep mileage was 135,269 miles at time of trade/sale. Winner reconditioning cost was $777.00 prior to sale.

I apoligize with respect to your service experience at Winner Ford. Winner Ford works with Ford and is required to follow the warranty process and procedure as per Ford Motor Company stated Warranty and Policy. Ford Motor Company designed the transmission and directs it's Ford Franchised Stores on the warranty repairs. There has been occasions when the same situation has existed at other Ford Dealer's and the vehicle ends up at Winner Ford for a transmission replacement or significant warranty repair. Customers sign a document at time of purchase/delivery with regard to Consumer Rights under the New Jersey Lemon Law.
