Frustrated I asked for pricing for things they suggested should be done. Was given a lump sum on a text message. Had to ask for the list and pricing, Person helping me didn't know and had to find Marty who had texted me, to write it out. He then gave me another lump sum. I again had to ask for it to be broken out. More

Poor delivery on promised services. The sales department is or was a dream to deal with back when I purchased my 2017 Tahoe in 2017. My experience with that group was the best I ever had The sales department is or was a dream to deal with back when I purchased my 2017 Tahoe in 2017. My experience with that group was the best I ever had. However, the service department experience is the complete opposite of what I experienced on the sales side. The sales manager was not present and the person left to “man the ship” was not helpful in getting my vehicle scheduled for service, which ended up in me having to pay for service (oil change) from another car dealer. I have recommended many customers to Windy and those recommendations resulted in a vehicle sale. Now my “free” oil changes are hard t schedule and seems as though the service department does not want to service vehicles that are not paying. Only I can do now is take to all social media’s to alert the public, so they can be informed. More

Shabby Treatment of a Loyal Customer I have been a loyal customer of Windy City for my car's service needs for over five years, so I was incredibly dismayed by my experience with the serv I have been a loyal customer of Windy City for my car's service needs for over five years, so I was incredibly dismayed by my experience with the service department last week. I went in for a routine oil change and wiper blade replacement, and after waiting for 1.5 hours, I was handed a bill for over $152 , with no explanation whatsoever! When I asked about the price, Jim said it was because of the wiper blades! Then, he proceeded to give me an exorbitantly-priced estimate for replacing my rear brakes, an unnecessary induction service and a brake fluid exchange, that--had I agree to all of it-- would end up costing me over $1000. My car has 62000 miles on it--not 162000! Not only did I not request a full checkup--but rather an oil change, wiper blades, and to have my rear right tire checked for a slow leak. My tire was never checked--or-if it was--I received no report about it, and one of the wiper blades was installed without removing the plastic insert, and I had to pull in to have it removed before heading out of town on a rainy day last week. I went home and did some research into the cost of replacing my rear brakes and on the necessity of an induction service and brake fluid exchange, and then called a few other local shops for estimates. Consequently, I can't see ever returning to Windy City. I can't see how you retain loyal customers when you treat them this way. More
