Very plesant and pleasing appearance and waiting area. quote are up front, with no pressure. Unlike another dealership (Cutter) that will only sell new parts that you may or MAY NOT need ... daughter went in for routine maintenance and ended up with a major bill. ( Have not seen them take advantage of women here...to gouge out higher profits...I have seen them explain situation...discuss alteratives and not presure them in giving a response until they were ready or have consulted someone else... some had opted to have it done there and some opted to have done elsewhere...still they are very coutious and personable. They put customer first in these tough economic times. More

Windward Ford is like a warm, caring family. Their prices are very competitive, and their service department is the BEST on Oahu. We intended to buy our 2002 Windstar from Windward Ford, but they didn't have what we wanted. We found ours at another dealership on Oahu, but did not like their service or the distance from our home. Windward Ford serviced the Ford van we had before, and we had always enjoyed excellent, friendly service from them, and decided to have them service our new Windstar. They treat us like family, the setting is welcoming - it looks like a large country ranch-style home - and, this is big...they have an old fashioned popcorn machine, and their customers all gather round it to get their bag of hot popcorn :) They are the essence of Aloha. Attempted to buy a base model 2009 Ford Ranger from Windward. Showed up, the truck was in the lot, but filthy. Ok, no big deal. Went for the test drive and it was fine. Went to talk price after going over financing (told him it would be a cash purchase) and other background information. He then comes back with a price list showing the asking price, minus the rebates, then the total. Well the asking price was $3,000 OVER MSRP (on a truck that is about $12,000 after rebates, that's a 25% mark-up!). I told him that was crazy and counter offered within a few hundred of MSRP. He went to the "manager" twice, but wouldn't come down from the price. We walked, huge waste of time. More

Very cool bunch of guys who are a lot easier to deal with than many of the other downtown dealers I had gone to first thinking it would be cheaper....it wasn't. Most car hawaii dealerships today are run by external mainland companies and it shows. The aloha spirit is alive and well in Kailua and I got a great deal to boot!!! More

Called the day before about a vehicle I was interested in and told the sales guy I would be there before 6 pm the next day. Drove out from Makakilo in Friday rush hour traffic and got there 530pm. He was gone and the car I was interested in was not there. Got a call back the next day, no apologies or attempts at politeness. Just 'so...when are you coming back down to look at the car.' I was polite and told him I was busy and then the sales guy says something like 'what's the matter? Can't afford the car?' What the hell kind of sales tactic is that?! More

don't let the nice "country" setting of the dealership fool ya. In the end, the salespeople and management are poor at best. It's an island for goodness sake ... one would think long term customer satisfaction would be job one !! Not at this place !!! the other ford dealers on oahu aren't much better - but at least they are your typical car dealership .... ya know it going in and your prepared for the "game". Stay away. buy from the mainland and have it shipped in. More

I took my car into Windward Ford for an electrical problem. I live in Kailua and didn't want to hassle with a rental car, so I kept going back (big mistake!). I took the car to Honolulu Ford and they fixed it (and a fuel pump issue that Windward told me was irrelevant to my problem) in under a week. Honolulu Ford told me that they get a lot of customers from Windward Ford. More
