My lease experience has been a total disaster. They said I had to go with a local Credit Union associated with CULA (Credit Union Leasing Association) to get the $200 dollar payment I was looking They said I had to go with a local Credit Union associated with CULA (Credit Union Leasing Association) to get the $200 dollar payment I was looking for with $10,000 down payment. I even had to join the credit union with $10 in a saving account. If I didn't go with the credit union that day that, Williams said the vehicle I wanted would not be available the next day. They did not give a quote for Toyota Financing or time to review the lengthy agreement with this credit union. When I lease, I normally pay all lease payments in one lump sum. The credit union would not let me do more than 3 months in advance. When I would go with manufactures financing, they had no problem with that because it is a fixed cost spelled out in detail in their contracts. The credit union sent me an email to view my e-statements. I clicked on the link, it sent me to a site asking for my wi-fi password to continue. The credit union would also share my email address with third parties. I requested a quote with Toyota afterwards to lease the same vehicle with same down payment, the monthly quoted payment would have been $125 per month for the same length of time. I told friends where I got the lease and they all said that this dealership is not fair and very misleading. Do not go to this dealer unless you get a lawyer to review the proposed agreement from someone other than the manufacture. Trust is earned. I filed a dealer complaint with Toyota. I blame myself for this not doing my homework and recognizing the lies being spewed but I assumed that Williams being a Toyota dealer it would be a very trustworthy and transparent organization. Boy was I wrong. Bottom line is: DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH WILLIAMS TOYOTA OF ELMIRA, NY More

Purchased my vehicle from Williams Toyota of Sayre, PA in 2018, though I live in NY. My check engine light came on and my repairman gave me the computer # needed for the repair and said I should check to se 2018, though I live in NY. My check engine light came on and my repairman gave me the computer # needed for the repair and said I should check to see if it was covered under warranty. I called Williams of Elmira and they would not tell me if my vehicle was covered or not." I would need to bring my car in and let them inspect the car - no fee if the repair was under warranty, $125.00 just to inspect it if it was not under warranty and let me know what I ALREADY KNOW!!!. Unbelievably poor service and unethical business practice. More
shockingly poor customer service and dishonest billing My recent experience here was not only frustrating but also shameful and a poor representation of your family of dealerships and the franchise you are My recent experience here was not only frustrating but also shameful and a poor representation of your family of dealerships and the franchise you are representing. I had made an appointment with the service department because my car was having an electrical issue causing it to fully drain the battery every night. I specified that I would need a loaner vehicle as their location is over an hour from my home. I was informed that the first available appointment would be two weeks out. I took the appointment and spent the next two weeks jump starting my car every morning to get to work, and again every afternoon to get home. When I arrived I was informed that they did not in fact have any available loaners. Grudgingly I left the car and walked across the highway to the field and stream to kill some time while they looked at the car. An hour and a half later they called to inform me that they had completed the 5,000 mi service but needed more time to diagnose. They couldn't provide me with a time frame, and still no loaner vehicle. They said I could come back another time for a loaner of I wished, however this was supposed to be that time!! After pointing out the flaw in their logic I decided I would take the vehicle elsewhere. Williams Toyota had my car in their possession for a cumulative one hour and forty five minutes. In that time I was billed for one hour of diagnostics as well as the 5,000 Mike service. I do not believe for a second that they had my car in a lift for anywhere near the hour and a half that I was billed for. I had spent about three years working for a much larger dealership and in all my time I have never experience the shocking disrespect that I did here. I will be taking my vehicle back to the dealership where I used to live and I will be using it as an excuse to visit friends and family. After calling the service manager at my previous Toyota dealer he said I could drop the car any time and that a loaner would be waiting for me. That is customer service. Williams will not be seeing another penny of my money, and I pitty they fool that continues to support them. More
Beware - you'll leave with problems Took our 2012 Tacoma in with a gear slipping issue. Adam swore up and down that they "almost never" see a Tacoma that needs a new transmission but our Took our 2012 Tacoma in with a gear slipping issue. Adam swore up and down that they "almost never" see a Tacoma that needs a new transmission but ours did. Instead of going for a second opinion we trusted Adam and the boys. $3600 later for a rebuilt tranny and once we picked up the truck the AC doesn't work. Husband contacted Adam about this and once again he swore up and down it wasn't the services departments fault, he did offer us an appointment so they could look it over. Fool me once, but not again Williams. We have purchased 2 expensive vehicles from this dealership.....but not going there again. More
Classy, Friendly "NON-PUSHY" Salesman Earned My Respect I just purchased a 2012 Toyota Rav4 "Limited and I love it! I used cargurus.com to locate all of the Rav4 models within a 100 mile radius. I th I just purchased a 2012 Toyota Rav4 "Limited and I love it! I used cargurus.com to locate all of the Rav4 models within a 100 mile radius. I then talked to over 7 dealers in the last 2 weeks and spent untold hours reading auto listings. It wasn't so simple to find a beautifully-maintained Toyota Rav4, with low mileage and just one owner. Out of all the vehicles, within a 100-mile radius, Williams had the best selection of very well-maintained Rav4's. My salesperson was Don Miller - the only non-pushy car salesperson I've ever met. And, I've been buying and leasing cars for 35 years. Don''s consistently calm, relaxed and friendly demeanor did much to alleviate my anxiety. I had trouble getting a loan and other dealers just submitted my application to lenders and, when they didn't get an immediate approval, most dealers just shut me down. Not Don! He worked hard to get me the best loan package for me. He has been a joy to work with. I can be completely honest and blunt with him and he doesn't play games. Transparency in car sales? Refreshing and rare! In addition, my previous car was a lease and had to be turned in within a day. Don knew I would be car-less after the April 13th (2017), so he had my new Rav4 ready in no time AND he took care of turning in my previous car to "Williams Honda of Elmira, NY," also part of Williams Auto Group. All I had left to do was happily drive away in my new Rav4! I would highly recommend Williams Toyota of Elmira (on Rt. 64, right near the Arnot Mall off I-86). It's only 1/4 mile from the exit ramp and it's worth the trip. But, remember to ask for Don Miller. You won't regret it. Hope this information helps someone :-) Best of luck in your search!! More
****BEWARE**** although the prices here are competitive they are very untrustworthy. They completely lied about my financing and the available interest rates. Although I mentioned a previous established I they are very untrustworthy. They completely lied about my financing and the available interest rates. Although I mentioned a previous established I used they claimed their rates were currently higher than what they were offering. Upon review this dealership offered me an interest rate that was double what was being offered at my old bank. They were not thorough in searching competitive rates and only were looking at what was convenient for them at the time. Furthermore they were extremely rude when I called back to discuss this issue and attempted to blame me when in reality it is their job which they failed to do. As a consumer I expect each person at this dealership to do their job and be accountable for their actions as we all have to do in our day to day jobs. Along with the issues above they also took it upon themselves to do several other costly things such as running new plates instead of transferring my old ones without my consent. Please beware this dealership is full of untrustworthy people. They will blame you for their mistakes. More
Originally I felt rushed and pushed into into buying the car by the manager. At the point of negotiating price he would repeat something like c'mon bro and are you serious. Because I was trying to reduce th car by the manager. At the point of negotiating price he would repeat something like c'mon bro and are you serious. Because I was trying to reduce the price. We had to meet in the middle between $300. I thought he acted like $300 was too much to take off, but I was crazy to walk away if he wouldn't take off $300. So I kept hearing what came off as an antagonizing, Bro are you serious? Are you really gonna walk away just because of this? C'mon there are no other cars as nice as mine bro or something similar. I had the car inspected days later to find a tire had a chunk out of it. The manager was loud and acted astonished that my mechanic had found this. He explained there was no way this was true because it had gone through his service shop. I asked if he wanted to call my repair shop and he said "I WOULD LOVE TO!" in what peceived as a sarcastic manner. He did call the repair shop to verify. The tire price was refunded though. I later (two weeks) found water { http://imgur.com/a/Ka4jv } in the trunk of the car. I called to see how to be accommodated and was told to send emails with pictures. After a couple weeks I called back again to find progress; the same manager said his email was having problems and not working and he said he never received my email(S), but a fellow co-worker that was in the service department copied on them did(hmm?). The manager explained he could not guarantee that he would be able to fix the car for free. Whilst trying to talk (and when I say talk I mean as professionals do) and argue my case that the problem was from when I left the lot he spoke over top of me and became louder and louder. I had to yell "Chris, listen!" multiple times o try and get a single word in. He did not listen or give me a chance at this point. I told him I felt he was being rude to me and he laughed at me. I asked to speak to his supervisor about being treated disrespectfully. He then began to use "Listen" anytime I just asked him to repeat himself, I believe trying to mock me using "LISTEN" as a play on words anytime he could. The supervisor also began to speak very loudly (YELL) over me when he got on the phone. He thought I was complaining about the non-guarantee of fixing it, but at that point I just wanted to know how I, a patron was being treated. Things got very heated. The supervisor sided with the manager and said his employee would have never done anything like that if I wouldn't have been so rude first, I would not have got that treatment. He told me I was just looking for a fight and disregarded my feelings. My mother listened the entire time and had to intervene between what became a shouting match. Her idea was to be transferred to the service department and deal with them after the verbal exchange became hot. The service employee was calm, polite and simply explained the same thing. Meanwhile I have a Prius that I bought off the lot that somehow gets water in the hatches battery compartment. All I really wanted was a car that was good to go off the lot with no problems. That's why I bought from a Toyota dealership. I thought they would offer more... I feel too embarrassed to go back now; all because I tried to stick up for myself. I live over an hour away and I do not believe I brought this on myself. I would have felt worse if I never would have brought it up to them. I will not be taking my car back even if it is covered after the treatment I received. I explained I would be writing my opinion and experience on social media reviews and neither seemed to care. I assume they will reply to this. I will not bring my car back. I will be having it fixed elsewhere after this incident even having t pay for it for sure. I do not only write negative reviews, I also write positive. I do this to give back to the social media world as it has helped me find the best product/deal/store. Any of you fellow Amazon shoppers will completely agree. More
My wife and I recently leased a new camry from Kent Brown Toyota. We received a warm welcome from our salesman (Dennis Derr). He Knew the products and features like a pro. Everything was handled by him leavi Toyota. We received a warm welcome from our salesman (Dennis Derr). He Knew the products and features like a pro. Everything was handled by him leaving me to only sign and drive away. It was probably the best car buying visit I have had and we have purchased many cars. The only thing I thought was the car cost a couple hundred dollars more than I had seen elsewhere. In the end dealing with a local dealer and having great service from salesman lead us to purchase the car from Kent Brown Toyota. We have since had a couple calls from Dennis making sure we have no questions and everything is going well. This is a rare service in today's customer service world. Will tell everyone I know looking for a vehicle to stop up and meet with him. The guy we signed the papers with seemed a little odd but was nice enough.. More
They say they are an honest small town dealer. I believe they are very shady. They basically told me a used car was in mint condition to get me there, then when I get there all kinds of issues about the ca they are very shady. They basically told me a used car was in mint condition to get me there, then when I get there all kinds of issues about the car were uncovered. The bigest of all the issues was that the car that I was told was mint had noticable dings and dents they would not fix. If you have to go there to get the car you want buyer beware. I would go to all other dealers in the area first. More
