I had an oil change performed, which was done in a reasonable amount of time . My problem is everytime I go they tell me ,I need this done or that done. They show me a list and cost , which totals $1, reasonable amount of time . My problem is everytime I go they tell me ,I need this done or that done. They show me a list and cost , which totals $1,000 or more. How about making a better product. The maintenance suggested is always short (timewise and mileage) of what other mechanics say the maintenance is needed. By the way if someone wants me to take this amount of time to do this survey maybe give some compensation. I know you'll say this is for tryingto make the experience better. Regardless. More
New in area and have a 2021 Mazda for which I’ve been getting service almost exclusively at my prior Mazda dealership. Took my car for one oil change outside of Mazda and noticed intermittent leaking of getting service almost exclusively at my prior Mazda dealership. Took my car for one oil change outside of Mazda and noticed intermittent leaking of oil about a month later. Needed to find a new Mazda dealership and this was closest to where I lived. It was easy to make an appointment and was greeted with a smile immediately on arrival. They were able to tell me what was likely wrong and confirmed it after looking at car - the prior oil change had not replaced the drain plug properly . Spent a lot of extra time cleaning oil off from the leak my car and gave it a free wash. Even though cleaning the oil took extra time, they didn’t charge me the full service hour and topped off my oil for free. Also recommended routine engine and cabin filter changes but gave me the time to review the photos and recommendations without pressure to complete the service that day. Definitely won’t be getting any of my car serviced outside of Mazda anymore. Will be returning to Wilkins Mazda from now on! More

Initially I had a problem. Things were not communicated to me properly and that didn’t sit well w/me. I’m not the type of person that normally leaves a bad review or tries to g Things were not communicated to me properly and that didn’t sit well w/me. I’m not the type of person that normally leaves a bad review or tries to get another person in trouble but I also didn’t want to be charged for something that I didn’t feel was fair. I was a little hesitant to walk back in there after bringing my complaint to their attention. I was worried I’d be getting so looks of contempt or serious attitude but it was nothing like that at all. So it’s nice to know that I can go in and have the opportunity to change my review from poor to great. I wasn’t made to feel like a “Karen” when I walked back in to Hyundai to pick up my refund and the service manager and the guys behind the service counter were nothing but courteous. I’m very happy to say Hyundai in Elmhurst will continue to get my support. A huge thanks to them for understanding my issue and helping me out! More
