Our salesman Sean was an outstanding individual that met every need we had. The manager Shawn worked well with us on pricing and accommodated us in every way possible. The F&I person we had was Kevin and was awesome and assisted us as well. We have already passed on our tremendous experience to friends and family!! We Will be back!!!! We had a good overall experience with buying our car from Wilde East Towne Honda. Craig was very friendly and seemed to know quite a bit about the vehicles he is selling. First of all-- I am a careful buyer. I evaluate many things before I step into the dealership and negotiate hard. When I started taking internet quotes for a CRV from dealers, Wilde east gave me (in t things before I step into the dealership and negotiate hard. When I started taking internet quotes for a CRV from dealers, Wilde east gave me (in the very first time) a fair quote. They were super nice in the discussions (no pressure) and also matched the quote from another local dealer in my area. After I walked into the dealership, whole experience was again very smooth and all of them ( Eric, Ann, and Justin) were great to talk to. Becuase we had to wait for a while (finance people were taking care of other customers who were ahead of us) Eric arranged a gift card to a nearby restaurent for us. Overall, I had a really good and positive experience and would recommend this dealership to one and all !! More
Wilde East Towne Honda is new to the Madison area but they are not new to the auto industry. I have been a long time Zimbrick customer simply because they were the only local Honda dealership around. T they are not new to the auto industry. I have been a long time Zimbrick customer simply because they were the only local Honda dealership around. They do a fine job but I never really left saying...wow what a great experience. I decided to check out Wilde East Towne Honda. Unsure if I wanted to buy or lease, I spoke to sales manager, Eric Henderson to get the ins and outs of both. For the first time ever, I didn't feel as though it was all about making money. Eric took the time to explain the true benefits of each and we moved forward with a couple leases. I really feel like they want your business and want you to leave with a positive experience. There was no pressure to make an immediate decision but I felt really comfortable moving forward with the deal. The vehicles have been great. Give them a shot! You will be glad you did. More
Great experience! I never thought I would use this expression to describe buying a new car but Wilde East Towne Honda made this a reality. My wife and I were comparing the Toyota Rave 4, Hyundai Tu expression to describe buying a new car but Wilde East Towne Honda made this a reality. My wife and I were comparing the Toyota Rave 4, Hyundai Tucson and the Honda CRV. We were sold on the Honda CRV because of the VALUE, Eric the no nonsense sales manager and the creative finance team headed by Ann. The deal was so good we never got to Hyundai and we are not having second thoughts. More
Buyers beware. I bought an Accord at the Wilde in Milwaukee 5 years ago. It was a fair situation, so thought I'd try the new business in Madison. We took our truck that we intended to trade along wit Milwaukee 5 years ago. It was a fair situation, so thought I'd try the new business in Madison. We took our truck that we intended to trade along with many of the vehicle registrations and the title. Wilde did a portion of the VIN on our trade and miss wrote one of the numbers/letters, so trade came up as a newer version. We kept telling Wilde the year of the truck. We also told them multiple times prior Wilde purchase and that we had a Honda Accord. Went to leave, and had to meet what seemed like 15 managers.... one manager Eric, again told him we owned Honda Accord and right before leaving, was told we qualified for Honda rewards. We again wanted to think on all of this over the weekend. We went in on a Saturday and spent literally 4 hours there. We called them on Monday morning and said we'd take the deal and told them what time we would pick it up. When we arrive on Monday afternoon, literally took another 3 plus hours to get paperwork done. They'll try to talk you to death, get you off focus by changing subjects, try to sell you every other maintenance and protection add-ons. Again they exhaust you to pieces. Was told maintenance contract would include oil changes and tire rotation. Maintenance contract arrived and no tire rotation. Plus due to the dealership not running the full VIN number they wanted $3,000 more for purchase price after we drove the vehicle home. Eric, the new car manager said we mis-represented ourselves - claimed fraud because we signed paperwork with incorrect model year of trade. I understand mistakes, but why would dealership ever do a partial VIN number on trades. We were so mentally and physically exhausted by their sales approach-makes you feel like you are in a corner and fighting for your life. Finallly worked with the Manager George, of course it took him 4 plus hours to speak to me via phone after 2nd phone call. George too has attention disorder, we decided to split the difference and then he still didn't get the home address/city correct. NEVER ARE THE MANAGERS ABLE TO LISTEN. SLIMY. NEVER WILL RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Take a tape recorder with you to record the lack of Wilde not listening to you. My niece bought from them and had many problems also. Buyers beware. When speaking to the General Manager, I indicated to him we lived in Mt. Horeb WI. The manager offered to have the salesperson drive the final paperwork to our house, but the General Manager had a lack of attention because he said he'd send the salesperson to our Oregon WI address. I corrected the manager and reminded him we lived in Mt. Horeb. How insulting to hear the General Manager indicate we lived in Oregon and not Mt. Horeb - or should I say - yet another mistake. I was given the option to return the vehicle, or pay the $3000 and I offered to split the $3000,. The response is outlining everything based on the recorded telephone conversations. Did someone listen to the conversation my husband had with Eric? The response is addressing just the incorrect vin and how the dealership never needs to run a full vin number. I had my insurance company run the vin number as Eric identified during one of our conversations-replacing the "Y". That incorrect VIN brought up a 2001 Toyota Tundra. I was told the maintenance contract would cover oil changes and tire rotations, now I find out it's just oil changes. Of course that conversation was never recorded, so I'm sure it is my misunderstanding at this point. More

Emily was very friendly and made the test drive and whole experience wonderful. I had been to several other dealers around the Madison area and they weren't even in the same league. Jorge has a wonderful demeanor about him which carries over the the rest of his employees. My only complaint (if you will) is that the dealer would not accept a check from my bank on a pre-approved loan. Instead, had to use their financing which was 3.0% APR higher than my bank approved me for. Wilde's service department is excellent and has taken care of every concern I have had with my vehicle, no questions asked. I can't speak enough about my experience and have already recommended Wilde to several friends. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen! You can look forward to my business in the future! More
My husband and I have been looking for a van for some time. Using AutoTrader.com, we found several online. After looking and deciding what we wanted, I contacted the Wilde East Towne Honda Sales Department and spoke with Shawn Stittleburg. Even though the van I initially called on was sold the night before, Shawn kept me on his list for anything up and coming. With a few days, one dropped in price and was in a price range within our budget. I emailed the link to Shawn, and set up an appointment for that same day. After test driving the van with Craig, we negotiated on a price that worked for us. We appreciated the time put in to our deal, and are very happy with our new vehicle! Thanks to everyone at Wilde East Towne Honda! Great job and great customer service from a team that looks like they have some fun! More
It was refreshing to work with Mary Liebig at Wilde East Towne. An experience earlier in the week with another dealer had me second guessing the need to make this purchase on behalf of my sister, Suzanne. Towne. An experience earlier in the week with another dealer had me second guessing the need to make this purchase on behalf of my sister, Suzanne. Suzanne is not one who is comfortable making a large purchase like this, and to be honest I'm not usually looking forward to dealing with a car salesperson (based on past experiences). But, I've had success with an internet-type purchase in CA, and I thought we'd give it a go in WI for my sister. I was handling the financial part remotely from CA, while my sister ate cookies in your lovely waiting room. If Mary hadn't called and emailed the day that she did, as a follow-up to my Kelly Blue Book inquiry, I'm not sure I'd be writing this. We probably would have postponed the decision to purchase for months, or even a year from now. I was that disgruntled with this other experience. So give Mary credit for her follow through. Most importantly, Mary made sure she was the point person through the whole ordeal. She presented herself as a very down-to-earth, professional salesperson, and one who was not pushy. She made it clear that she was going to try to do whatever it took to give us a good deal and convert us to a customer. She claimed she was relatively new at Wilde ET, but you know, she handled herself as one who was seasoned, and a straight-shooter. Both my sister and I appreciated that. We can't say enough good things about Mary. My sister LOVED her, and gave her a hug when it was all over with. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Lastly, when it came to some tougher questions (as in financing the difference vs. credit card vs. cash), Mary was smart enough to engage Eric (nice guy, can't remember how far up the ladder he was, but I think it was the top step). He and Mary mapped out all the options, and when I challenged some of the Honda financing rules and Wilde credit card limit rules, he came to a resolution that made everyone happy (at least on my end). I thank them for that. Okay, I'm almost done with my lengthy endorsement. But, I wanted to make sure that Mary was recognized properly. Let's face it, we consumers don't make a new auto purchase very often, so when we do, it's nice to have the outcome be so enjoyable. Many thanks. Best of luck to you and your dealership. Ed S Concord, CA A Wisconsinite at heart. p.s. I am not related to Mary, nor anyone at Wilde that I know of. No animals were hurt when composing this rating. More
