Being pressured to make snap decisions by overzealous salespeople and potentially making regretful decisions and purchases. A completely different atmosphere at Wilde. Brian O'Steen is "THE MAN". He made the entire buying experience easy because he listened to find out what I was interested in driving, enabling us to cut right to the chase. A quick test drive with Brian and I left a deposit with delivery two days later. Brian had everything ready when I returned to take my new Jeep Cherokee home with me. No pressure to buy additional items or protection packages. I signed the papers and on my way in about a half hour. Brian truly made my car buying experience the best I've ever had and I will certainly recemmend him to family and friends. More

We wer My wife and I happened to stop by since we were interested in an used Jeep. We quickly had a service rep (Chris Callen) tending to our needs. We were in a potential vehicle to buy in minutes and were sold on the spot with their "supposed best offer". I had been doing some checking around the area for similar vehicles and new price ranges. Wilde came in lower with no hassles. Best buying experience we have had in many years. More

With each vehicle I've purchased the senior sales manager stops by to personally thank us for our business and ensure our satisfaction. Financing options are always competitive as well. Once you leave the lot rest assured your in good hands. The service department at Wilde is second to none. Everyone (from mechanics to service manager) is friendly and honest and easy to work with. After 4 days and $1200 spent it was in the exact same condition. Long version: - Several months ago I took my Wrangler in due to it not starting and hesitation when accelerating. After 4 days in the shop and costly hunch-based checks being performed, without the diagnostics to support them (think shooting in the dark based on the "feeling" of the service tech), I was told it was drivable and that I could avoid another rental vehicle payment by picking it up. I went in to grab it and it was literally in the same condition... zero change. As the service employee was pulling it into the bay, presumably road-worthy, I heard the engine stalling and when he turned it off I could not restart it. I asked the tech if this was truly safe to drive as I expressed my belief that it did not sound any better than it had when I dropped it off. The employee stated, just as the service rep on the phone did, that it should be just fine. They did state it still needed a MAP sensor replaced but that I could just bring it back after the part was received to get it installed, no big deal. Initially I was happy with this determination as I was renting a vehicle to use while mine was being serviced. Upon arriving to receive my unsafe vehicle, coupled with the fact that multiple Wilde employees were telling me it was fine to use, I found myself in a complete state of dismay. I was completely confounded and upset that they would 1) Attempt to give me back an unsafe vehicle (**conditions considerations applied) 2) Display a lack of vehicular knowledge commensurate to the level expected of a licensed dealership and 3) On the money already spent on their so-called diagnostic work and parts replacements - I had zero confidence that I was throwing my money into anything real. **To add context to the severity of this foul-up is the fact that in WI, at that time, temps were below zero, windchill dropped it into the -20's and I on occasion would travel with a baby who was only 10mo old at the time. Further, I have an hour commute to work, which leaves plenty of time and distance to be stranded without immediate response. When the MAP sensor was eventually replaced my vehicle was good but not great. I left the shop with it. A few days later it starting acting up again and threw 6 codes that fall into the same system that Wilde was working in. It would not surprise me if they just created more problems during the plucking-and-chucking-parts-trying-to-guess-at-solutions-instead-of-actually-doing-proper-diagnostics work that they did. Here's another quick example of what to expect: These trained and certified techs (some with over 30yrs experience I was informed by their service manager) zip-tied a sensor back into place instead of recommending and installing a replacement housing for it. Go figure that some of my subsequent issues were cleared up when I got the housing replaced. Needless to say, I did not go back to Wilde to get said subsequent repairs performed. - - - - - - - - - - - I went to Wilde to begin with, despite having another Jeep shop much closer to my house because we have friends who work at a Wilde dealership in another city; I greatly regret doing so. The experience was so bad that now I get Wilde mailers sent to me (I have called and asked them to take me off of their lists but they have failed to follow-through on that request) and each time I receive them I am reminded of just how immensely unsatisfactory this repair experience was. - - - - - - - - - - - I am not as delusional to think my post will cause harm to Wilde, in their bottom-line and such, nor is that what I wish but if you have read this far into my post I simply hope that you go elsewhere with your service needs and avoid the possibility of what happened to me happening to you and your family. Positive: I really enjoyed interacting with the ladies at the front counter, where you pay bills. Wilde- Please pass on the obligatory auto-response. None needed. More
