Don, Operations General Manager. 5/20/23 - Don agreed that I put a refundable deposit hold on a car. Rust everywhere underneath the car, oil pan and head gaskets leaking oil. Don still pressured me to buy and assure the car is fine even though its leaking oil and pretty rusty underneath. I did not purchase and requested my deposit. Call, text and email with no response. Don Kerride is ignoring me and took my refundable deposit of $520. More
Don is a liar, incredibly unprofessional, aggressive and most definitely the typical sleaze-ball used car dealer. I inquired about a BMW X6 and asked about the condition and service history. Don informed me that the vehicle was perfect, and when he bought it, it needed nothing other than the brakes he had installed. I told him that if it was as nice as he says it it, i was going to buy it. I was excited to come BUY the car, literally brought cash with me to do the transaction. I live just over an hour away so I setup an appointment to come drive the vehicle. I arrived, Don introduced me to his son and confirmed that the car needed nothing. I drove the car and immediately noticed a very loud howling noise coming from the front end. I returned the the dealership and when Don's Son asked me how I liked it, I told him about the noise, let him know this was not the car for me, and encouraged him to drive it himself. 15 minutes later, Don calls me and asks how I liked it. I told him that there were issues with the car and I let him know this one wasn't for me. He got a nasty attitude and said, "We'll, good luck then!" and hung up on me. I called back to understand why he wished me luck and hung up?. He then tells me that "anything can be fixed..." I let him know that it was a big waste of my time to come to see a car that needed repairs, after he assured me it was perfect. Don then told me I wasted his time by calling him! He then went off on me, calling me expletives (f*****g a*****e, p***y) and said to "Come back up here..." presumably so he could assault me... I am flabbergasted at not only the flat out lies, but the aggressiveness that was shown towards me by Don. What an absolute xxxxxxx. And to your son, keep selling real estate. If you want to be in the car business, learn from professionals, not a half-rate wanna be lying wholesaler. I was an F&I manager at a Chrysler store from 2002-2013, so I know the business quite well. And this dealer is the stereotypical dealer who gives them all a bad name. Find another dealer to do business with. Don't waste your time, and don't believe a word this guy breathes. And beware, if you don't buy his junk, he'll come at you aggressively. Don, thanks for a total waste of time. And you should be ashamed of how you do business, especially considering you're training your son... Literally laughable. More
