No pressure..... great deals on good cars I had no intention of purchasing another vehicle but because I was not high pressured, I let Ryan continue telling me about what they had to offer. I I had no intention of purchasing another vehicle but because I was not high pressured, I let Ryan continue telling me about what they had to offer. I feel I got a deal and Ryan was very honest with me about everything and did not hesitate to answer any question I had. I would definatly deal with him again !!! More

Totally unprofessional crooks Stay clear of this dealerships service department if you want honest, reliable and hassle free service!!!! I have been working in the St Clairsville a Stay clear of this dealerships service department if you want honest, reliable and hassle free service!!!! I have been working in the St Clairsville area and recently started having coolant issues with my 15 Duramax diesel. I stopped by the service department of Whiteside on a Saturday to schedule a service appointment. First thing I had to deal with was absolutely no customer parking. Once I finally found a parking spot and entered the service department there was no one in there. I patiently waited for a customer rep to finally show up at counter. The man (which I didn’t get his name) who showed up at the counter acted irritated and overwhelmed with the amount of service work they had for the day. NOT MY PROBLEM!!! I explained what problems I was having with my truck, he said “all I can do is get it in here and take a look” . I understand that which was fine by me. He handed me the telephone and said I had to talk to someone else to schedule my service appointment and walked away to go deal with his other problems he obviously had. I spoke with a lady on the phone and scheduled my appointment.. Due to my work schedule and having to borrow a friends vehicle (was never even offered a loaner vehicle even though my truck was still under warranty) I had to drop my truck off the night before. No big surprise!!! No parking spot due to a vehicle off the lot parked across the drive blocking 10 empty spots. I finally just parked my truck in the middle of the driveway. I went to put my keys in the key drop and found out it’s the most insecure joke of a mailbox, I forgot my coat in my truck after I dropped the keys in the box. No big issue though just reached in the box and pulled the envelope with my keys in it out of the box to unlock my truck. REAL SECURE !!!! . The next day I called in the late afternoon to see what they had found with my truck. After waiting on hold for a better part of 15 minuets I finally spoke with a service director, who then asked if I would speak with the tech and explain the issues I was having with my truck. No problem, I was actually glad to speak with the tech so he knew first hand what was going on. About a hour later I got a call from the service director stating that my surge tank cap had broke and part of it was in the bottom of the surge tank causing my coolant issues, and my truck was ready with me owing $84.00. I found this suspicious because I replaced the cap a week before and had it off the to top off the coolant right before I dropped my truck off for service. There was no issue with the cap the day before and only drove the truck 10 miles to drop it off at Whiteside. Went in the service department to pick my truck up and wanted to talk to the service director, but of course the only person in the service department was the cashier wanting my money for the bill. She explained to me that the service director and tech had gone home for the night. So I pay and ask where my old surge tank cap was ( I always request my old parts back when I drop my vehicles for service. It helps keep crooks honest) The cashier said the old cap was in the truck. I go to my truck and check the coolant level and make sure the surge tank cap is new. Everything looked good till I got in the truck and found the old cap which was only a week old broken into 10 different pieces in the new cap box. Again my suspicion rises, why would the tech destroy the old cap unless they were hiding something and knew I would want my old parts back. I give Whiteside the benefit of the doubt and drive the truck for a couple days. Second day same issues as before. Now I feel ripped off and taken advantage of !!! I returned to Whiteside the next Saturday cause I wanted to speak to someone face to face about this. Again no parking !!! Again no one in the service Department!!!! Finally a man entered and asked if he could help me, I explained the situation to him. He told me I would have to reschedule another appointment to get the truck in the following week. I told him no they can look at it right now because of the inconvenience of having not having my truck during the week. He stated this was impossible because he didn’t think he would be able to get the service work done he already had on the books for the day. NOT MY PROBLEM!!! Fix it right the first time!!! He agrees to have the service manager call me Monday to discuss the issue. Almost 2 weeks later still no call !!! And on the parking and key drop issue I was told that they blocked most of the service area parking to protect customers vehicles . I call BS !!!! All the customers vehicles were on the street side of the blocked parking!!!! They are protecting their inventory of vehicles at the service department customers inconvenience. As far as the unlocked mail box they call a secure key drop all I got was a blank stare. When GM was eliminating dealerships Whiteside should have been at the top of their list!! Take time and read the other reviews about Whiteside. I wish I would have. More
Horrible Service Dept. I am in the area working, I live out of state. When I started having problems with my 2016 Chevy 2500 I took it to this dealer to have it fixed under I am in the area working, I live out of state. When I started having problems with my 2016 Chevy 2500 I took it to this dealer to have it fixed under the warranty. My vehicle was giving electrical issues that have since progressively gotten worse because this service dept has fixed exactly NOTHING!!! It started with my radio not working until you turn the vehicle off and back on, sometimes multiple times. Then has progressed to the fuel gauge messing up and check engine light coming on. This service dept. claims there is nothing wrong with my vehicle that the computer is not showing anything which is utter crap! Because you can put any reader on it that you buy or go to Auto Zone and it is showing codes!!! Today while it was there they didn't even look at it, just put in the parking lot and left it for the day. Called me at the end of the day saying they couldn't find anything wrong with it, well if you would do your JOB you would! This service dept's only game plan is to wait until the warranty runs out then suddenly "find" the problem and want to charge me an arm and a leg to fix the issue that they should have fixed from the beginning!! Not to mention they make you wait several hours to be told they will not tend to your vehicle. If you make an appt. to have it serviced and they promise to give you a rental do NOT count on it!! These people are the most rude, arrogant and lazy people I have ever had to deal with. It is only because of pure luck they still have their doors open. More

Very unprofessional business This dealership is a joke. From the top (Ted Showalter) to the bottom (Bud Hanlin). Bought a brand new 2015 Silverado in July from this dealership. Ha This dealership is a joke. From the top (Ted Showalter) to the bottom (Bud Hanlin). Bought a brand new 2015 Silverado in July from this dealership. Have had nothing but ongoing problems with it since. I get that they don't make the vehicle but they should service correctly or at least TRY. Sometimes when I took it in they would make excuses that they didnt have the time to do it....believe me i have heard every excuse from this dealership. When they couldn't fix it they said that they were going to reimburse me( aka lemon law) . I was told by GM himself to file a claim with the BBB. Thanks for your advice knucklehead. That's exactly what I did. Last time in they said there was nothing wrong with vehicle took it to another dealer. They are now working on problem. I would not suggest setting foot in this dealership. I have talked to many people since and have found out the horror stories about WHITESIDES. Hire some responsible people and maybe you will get results. More
