I was incredibly disappointed by this experience with Toyota. I had done a lot of the work installing the wiring harness, taking off the panels in the trunk to access the connections and I kept all of th Toyota. I had done a lot of the work installing the wiring harness, taking off the panels in the trunk to access the connections and I kept all of the screws and pieces to put the trunk back together in a bag with the other components of the wiring harness. I wasn’t told what to expect or updated at all when I arrived and during my wait. After five hours I was given a bill for almost 560 dollars. This seems incredibly excessive given that I had already done a lot of the work and had the parts. The panels of the trunk were not put back and the wiring harness wasn’t even secured. When I got home I couldn’t find the bag of screws and pieces to put my trunk panels back and when I called Toyota they said they never saw a bag. The instructions that I had in the bag were still in my trunk but the bag was gone. So now I have to figure out how to replace these things but I have a cross country move to do and I don’t have time to deal with it right now. I had already installed the hitch but had difficulty accessing one of the bolts to tighten it and asked Toyota to just check the hitch to be sure it’s secure. The bolt was still loose so I bought a new wrench to tighten it myself… Overall no trust with this garage and I feel very ripped off. Glad I’m moving away More
