My family and I had a flat tire on our way from Canada to Mass. I walked into the office when the service department was already closed. Amazingly, he manages to get Todd and T.J to return from their way home. T.J was extremely professional and took care of the problem quickly. I was so touched by everyone’s kindness. Whenever I arrive for a service appointment, they are ready for me. The interior of the car is protected and I usually wait in the customer space settling in with a free cup of coffee, watch the televis ready for me. Last year I purchased a new Matrix at WRT (an excellent experience). Today I went in for a basic service and asked a casual question about the microphone part of the JBL/Bluetooth package. Eric Hard, who always gets things done properly, went straight to TJ, the Head Technical advisor who knows all Toyota vehicles inside and out. TJ immediately dropped what he was doing to help me. He listened patiently, then together we used our cell phones with the Matrix Bluetooth system so he could get a first hand understanding of my question. Considering the conundrums TJ is undoubtedly faced with on a daily basis, my "problem" must have seemed very minor, but he treated it as if it were the most important one he'd come across. After some research (Toyota obviously knows the microphone on this system is less than perfect), he personally pulled the dashboard apart so he could move the mic to a better location. It was amazing watching this 6'2 guy squeeze himself into the foot-well all the while exuding wonderful humor. In the end, his efforts made a big improvement to the mic performance. On the side, Toyota should consider developing a better JBL system as TJ had to waste much too much time on something that should never have been an issue. In all, I am once again in awe of White River Toyota, its Service Department, and the personable experts who work there. Oh yes, when I was leaving, the General Manager (Pete Stoddard) came out to talk to me personally - just to make sure everything was to my complete satisfaction. If you want the very, very best, go to White River Toyota - you won't be disappointed. More

The recent service and body work on my 2004 Tacoma was, if possible, more exceptional than usual. General Manager Pete Stoddard met me as the friend he has become and ensured I was all set. Eric Hard followed through in Service and my truck was not only given an appointment to fit *my* needs, but was completely repaired to "new" specifications with warp speed. To say the service at WRT is exemplary is to miss much of the total package. The effort to be personal, friendly, and professional is real and ever present. Congratulations to WRT - my wife and I will go no where else while Eric Hard is in Service and Pete Stoddard is in overall charge! More

I woke up on my first chilly morning and noticed the tire pressure warning light on in my Camry. I was very nervous since I had to travel four hundred miles that day to return home. I stopped at a gas station; of course, the machine to inflate the tires wasn't working. Since I was dressed for an appointment with little time to waste, I just decided to take a chance and drive to the local Toyota dealer I had noticed nearby. Although they knew I wasn't from the area, they were most accommodating and immediately took care of checking all four tires and putting some air in the tire(s) which needed air. All of this was done within ten-fifteen minutes (I wasn't late for my appointment....how accommodating they were!) Furthermore, it was done as a courtesy (I asked for the bill, and there was none). As a single woman travelling alone, the piece of mind that this offered me for my long journey home was priceless. From the assistant service manager who handled my request immediately, to the technician who checked the air pressure and even reset the gauge, to the management who maintains a clean and wellrun facility, I can't thank you enough for saving the day for me. It was just a little thing to you, perhaps, but it made all the difference to me. I guess every Toyota dealership is different, depending on its location, size, customer base, etc.; but, assuming this experience is typcial, White River Toyota is doing everything right from the customer's point of view and has an outstanding. customer service oriented service department. New Prius had 4 problems, 1 serious as car surged for 15 seconds on its own while going 60 mph on interstate. They took car out and test drove at 25 mph and reported no problem. Gas mileage also sank 2 seconds on its own while going 60 mph on interstate. They took car out and test drove at 25 mph and reported no problem. Gas mileage also sank 25% on same interstate drive. They could of cared less. They told me that due to our weather the oil needed to be changed twice as much, when they found out I had free maintenance for 2 years via Toyota and Toyota would be paying for it, the car all of a sudden didn't need it, I guess the car only needs it when I'm paying for it. Other problems they agreed with, but said there were no fixes put out by Toyota on how to fix. One was the radio antenna doesn't work properly, if it would of been me paying there rate of $85.50 an hour, I'm sure it would of been fixed, but as its under warranty, they refuse to fix it via theres no technical service bulletin. Stay away from this dealer More

There is never any waiting and somehow they always have the time and staff to accommodate me. I am impressed with the quality workmanship, the professional service and the helpful friendly staff. They don't try to sell you parts/repairs you don't need. They are fair and honest-- I LOVE dealing with a dealership that has it ALL together, they make things easy, fast, efficient, while all at a fair price. I will NEVER purchase a car ANYWHERE else. I am not related to, or do I have any relatives that work for the dealership, nor do I have stock in the company. I am just a THRILLED, SATISFIED CUSTOMER!
