Had an early morning appointment, over two hours later, they hadn't even started. And the person at the desk giggled and said she had skipped us. I'm not sure what was so amusing. I brought my two children with me because this was supposed to be quick, but this was very unprofessional. I should not be waiting three hours for a simple oil change. More

They called me to ask if I could leave the car overnight so they could work on it the next day. No problem, I had access to another car. The following night I arrive at 5pm to pick up the car, they are still working on it. I wait for an hour, then drive it home. 2 days later on a trip to RI, I realize the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel no longer work. I call up service, and Anthony (I believe) is like “Oh no, we didn’t do that. You’ll have to pay to have us to diagnose the problem”. Bye WP Honda, I’ve traded my Accord in for a Ford Fusion. More

I took my car to New Rochelle Honda with a heating problem that they could not identify or fix. After that I tried White Plains Honda and the service manager not only took what I said into considerat problem that they could not identify or fix. After that I tried White Plains Honda and the service manager not only took what I said into consideration, but he identified and fixed the problem on the same day. I recommend White plains honda over all other local Honda Service, they really seem to know their stuff. More
First and Last time that I would do any business with this location...I brought my wife's Honda in for brake service and left with feelings of disgust, bad customer service, and suspicious shady scams. this location...I brought my wife's Honda in for brake service and left with feelings of disgust, bad customer service, and suspicious shady scams. Cautious from previous experiences, I had made them aware that someone else had looked at the vehicle and that only the brake pads would need to be serviced and not the rotors, as it would be an additional cost. After leaving, I received a phone call back from Anthony Valentine who said that the rotors also needed work and which of course would be an additional cost. I found this suspicious since someone I trusted had already looked at the brakes and rotors before arriving. I asked Anthony that I needed to make a couple of calls and asked not to continue with the repairs. When I called Anthony back and asked for the car to be returned to me, he suspiciously paused and said "ohhh...we already did the work on the car" I asked "Why?" since I did not authorize them to work on the car any further and wanted the car back. He then shifted gears to say that they would only do the brake pad special and not the rotors as I had originally requested. I got the impression he tried to "catch" me by saying that they already did the work on the car and made me feel obligated to pay for the service so I wouldn't take the car somewhere else. I found it blatantly wrong that he would take it upon himself to go ahead and do the work after I had asked him not to. At this point, I was also suspicious if they actually did start repairs on the car at all or if he was just saying they did. When I returned to the dealership the following day, I had waited to be serviced and noticed Anthony eating a sandwich at the customer service area not acknowledging me as I was next in line. He then had walked away. I then asked for who I believe is a Service Manager Bill Carlucci. I explained to Bill that it was my first time at the dealership and that I bring my Jeep to a Jeep dealership exclusively and was looking to start doing the same with my wife's Honda with a Honda dealership. I explained that I did not feel comfortable with what had transpired the day prior and explained what had happened with Anthony. He apologized saying that they should not have done the work without my authorization. I also explained that I wanted that car back to that I could have it serviced somewhere else for cheaper and asked if he would honor the rates from the other location. He said he would not honor the rates since when I originally came i, I had signed for the brake special which I don't recall signing and that was what they were going to charge me. He offered a 10% discount instead of $13. At the end of the transaction, I noticed that at the bottom of the receipt that was presented to me that a signature had been covered in "White-Out" on further inspection, I realized that the signature was not even mine and appeared to have been covered up. I left the dealership disgusted and feeling scammed. I feel they could have at least honored the competitor price since I wanted the car back originally and got the impression that they wanted a "quick sale" as opposed doing what's right to develop a long lasting customer for service, sales and referrals. I leave also confused whether or not the rotors were completed and have safety concerns now since I have a family with a 1 year old daughter who rides in the car with us. More
Our Honda element was broken down in Purchase, Ny and needed a new starter-our Honda Dealership back in Bennington, Vt recommended the White Plains Dealership for repairs. I gave my son, who was going needed a new starter-our Honda Dealership back in Bennington, Vt recommended the White Plains Dealership for repairs. I gave my son, who was going to school in the area, our credit card info to pick up the car-he was told it was not accepted, even after I called and spoke with Bill (Anthony)? Carlucci that the credit card info was correct and I was authorizing it. Still it was "company policy". I was on the road, I was forced to stop at a Dunkin Donuts and use their UNSECURED wifi and email on a UNSECURED yahoo mail account to Bill's personal AOL account with my credit card number/exp date/ and the 3 digit security-only then he would release the car to my son. Have you ever heard of a reputable company that doesn't accept credit card info over the phone? Then force a customer to jeopardize their credit card account? I have been a loyal honda customer, but after today, I'm done with Honda! More

This is by far the worst deal I have ever dealt with in my life. The service department people were rude and incompetent. They don't tell you by phone that the service area is in a completely different are my life. The service department people were rude and incompetent. They don't tell you by phone that the service area is in a completely different area of White Plains and when you get there they were rude and actually kind of mean. It was like dealing with the Teamsters. Actually, I take that back. I've been on film sets before and the Teamsters were great compared to these unkind, uncaring, and rude people. They did bad work and had to go some where else to get the job done right. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! More
i am writing this after i traded my 2005 honda hybrid in for a new car - not another honda! although i name anthony valentine as the person i dealt with for service, please understand that my ratings for a for a new car - not another honda! although i name anthony valentine as the person i dealt with for service, please understand that my ratings for all but "friendliness" apply to the service itself, not to anthony. i found anthony to be friendly and honest in the sense that he seemed as upset as i was when things went wrong. what went wrong included long delays in arrival of needed parts, questionable pricing of parts [e.g., a near $200 difference between the price i was charged and the price for the same part as per an internet check], the new part not working when it finally arrived and was installed and then my being informed that an additional new part was needed, all these problems resulting in long delays in having my car returned. it is my opinion that white plains honda service staff are not adequately trained [and perhaps not adequately paid.] the most recent problem happened twice [the car not starting when the gas pedal was pressed]; the first time i was told the problem could not be found, but the car was started. the second time the problem was attributed to the need for a new starter, and then a new fly wheel. less than a week after i got the car back the second time it started to "hiccup" again the way it had before the starter stopped starting the first two times. i was luckily able to start the car to get it to the dealership for the new car for which my dud of a honda was a trade-in. so - in essence - i won't have to deal with white plains honda anymore. but i want to stress that anthony valentine was always cordial and usually accessible. i think that as things got desperate during my most recent service he kind of ducked a couple of times when i called. but whether or not that was so, he should not be blamed for the shoddy service offered by honda white plains.
